You're gonna be in a theater with a bunch of social-puritan-apartment-lifers with thick rimmed plastic glasses, black sweaters and Starbucks as they all coo at the end and say it was stunning and brave. Especially the obligatory man-to-man sex scene which is required in these flicks simply because these people are more concerned with the "gayness" than the "humanity". But maybe someone will get an in-flight Super-BJ and at least that will be a new perspective.

Just kidding.

I say bring it on. I hope they throw a ton of dough into it and make sure that everyone has really good, metro-sexual-smooth skin, Superman Returns style.

no Superman Legacy is Clark Kent's Superman Movie. No Jon Kent No Black Superman. I don't think MBJ's Superman movie is happening anymore.

Maybe he means Lois will have a child, his child. I doubt he’s one of those people who think that men can get pregnant…or is he?

And in regards to the tweet, he’s just saying, “I didn’t specifically say that Clark will have a kid.” He’s neither confirming nor denying Jon’s appearance in the movie.

BUT I could end up being wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Doubt it will be the only movie with a Superman junior in it, though, and Legacy may or may not be the next one.

And if any of you think that Hollywood directors always tell you the truth before a movie/show’s release, then you obviously don’t know about the Kevin Smith/Clownfish TV drama.

I’m down. I don’t love his previous films but I think this is going to be something unique and special for James Gunn. I think he understands the character he’s dealing with. Don’t expect this to have the same exact tone as Suicide Squad.

Probably more in vein with the emotional moments from Guardians.

Gunn directing is not news... he said he wanted to direct it from the start, but was focusing on writing it and it wasn't set in stone. This could just be Tom going off of those earlier comments.

I just worry he won't be able to get behind the amount of stoicism Superman requires. You know, without resorting to sight gags or goofy stuff to make a joke of everything.

But we'll see. He's a smart enough guy that he knows what people's perceptions of his limitations are. He might surprise, if his heart is really in it.
