CW cancels "No Tomorrow" and "Frequency"

No Tomorrow and Frequency, both canned. Both seemed like they had intriguing premises, but I never bothered watching them due to my desire to avoidance an overdose on CW angsty relationship drama...

Did any of you guys watch either of these shows? Good, bad, indifferent? I'm curious.

I liked Frequency. It was different enough from the movie without just retreading the same ground but similar enough to retain the name and the use of the ham radio... I had hope for a season 2, or at least one more episode for a proper conclusion....

No Tomorrow is pretty much how most people live today anyways and I didn't much care for it. Characters really didn't shine at all.

Wait, Frequency was a movie first?

I like the central concept of No Tomorrow; girl learns to live her life to the fullest from the influence of a guy (who may or may not be crazy)... it just seems like CW would drive a lot of the relationships into the ground like they do with every other show.

Yeah, Frequency was a movie first... lol. The movie was a father/son relationship though instead of father/daughter. Movie was father a firefighter, son a police officer... the changes to the time line was handled about the same, with the movie showing less of the odd side effects than the tv show, but thats what made the show better imo.

Huh. That looks pretty interesting. I hate unfinished stories, so I'm pretty sure I'll avoid the show... the movie, on the other hand...

Thickest accents I've ever heard in a movie NOT about the mob, though.

So that leaves Riverdale as the only successful new CW show this season.
