I just ordered my copy! Cost $34.52 and I had to use Google Translator every step of the way, but it'll be worth it.

Unbelievable, but not surprising, either. As I recall, the Region 2 DVD of Turtles Forever is both uncut and in widescreen. (Vs. the lack thereof in the Region 1 version.) I suppose the lesson is, "it's nice to know that at least the European side of the fandom has all the nice and shiny DVD things."
On the plus side, my CyberDVD player can shift between region to region (if only temporarily), so it isn't as hopeless as it might have been, five years ago. I brought my Region 1 DVD copy, recently, and I had thought, "Dude, where are my awesome extras?" Oh, well. Still worth it for all the screencap possibilities and the like. |

I purchased this awhile back and feel the Steve Baron commentary is what makes this dvd worth the purchase.

DOH! I am happy and insanely annoyed at the same time! Why can't they release such glorious content over in America or any other part of the world for that matter!
*Sigh* Maybe one day, hopeful soon, we will see it too.

I'll get it for ya. $25 should be enough to ship it anywhere in the world since I plan on ordering plenty to actually eBay off most of them this time. I can expect eBayers with renewed interest in TMNT via Nick's show to pay $25 for 'em, right? O_o

I honestly wouldn't gamble on that. Especially since it's a region 2 DVD.

I've never known eBay to be a great place to unload dvd's or cd's. Ever. If you sell movies or cd's on eBay, expect a huge loss.

Even after the Nick show sends parents on a trip down memory lane? I suppose I'll have to go back to my original plan of 'wait until you at least have two sure things before investing in spreading the Turtley goodness'... Anyway, even with an order of five (which I'm sure will all get sold from here eventually), I can keep the price $25 within the continental US. I'll just be making my profit in fanboy-karma, in that case.

If we don't get a special edition by the new movie comes out; I'll patiently wait for the Turtle Power Documentary and enjoy that as for a settlement.

Actually Mikey lost his grip on his ledge which causes him to fall from his position.

All the different region code discs I have work with VLC player, which is free. So if you don't mind watching it on a computer than that's the way to go. Even better you just connect your laptop, or possibly desktop depending, to your TV with an HDMI cable and watch it that way. Worked pretty well for me with the German release, the UK Turtles Forever, and all the Aussie sets.

I just don't understand why other countries get more benefits than the U.S. I mean, aren't they from here? So why haven't we got the proper release of "Turtles Forever", and the UK did? Not trying to be rude, but I noticed this goes on with music as well. All the imports get "bonus tracks", and we get stuck paying more for them, or just a standard version of an album (if there is a deluxe edition available).
I believe it's unfair, and that we all should get equal treatment, but I know that will never happen. American companies are very greedy, and the excuse I hear is that it's harder for THEM (outside the u.s.) to get the product, yeah, well, what about US, here at home? Sorry for the rant, I just think it's unfair, but oh well. I'm not purchasing anything overseas. If it never gets released, it never gets released, I'm happy with the original version of the movie, and I had already burnt Turtles Forever (Director's Cut) on DVD, so there is no need for me to rely on these re-releases, personally. Just the principle of the matter
