I have one more question for TMNT4kids:

Will this DTV be the last TMNT project 4kids works on? Is this it? Or is it possible for more DTV releases in the future?

Thank goodness! I can't wait for more TMNT! Though if this is it for 2K3 and Tales does end this year, what are we going to do until the reboot movie?!?! Peter seems like he might be about to pick up the pace with Vol. 4 so I guess we might see that conclude next year.

My first guess is going back to the original 2k3 series style (fingers crossed), but I guess we could get another re-design.

This is interesting. If not the Shredder Wars then will it be the long rumored old toon meets new toon?

And if we don't get the Shredder Wars here does that mean they're now just an alternative future that the TMNT stopped by defeating Cyber Shredder in BTTS? Or could we hope to one day see this story as another DTV?

I wasn't expecting it would be, but I would still love the CGI movie style adaptation that Murphy talked about. But with a reboot movie coming I guess won't happen for a long time, if ever.

I don't know if you can answer this, but will it be more like Mask of the Phantasm or Return of the Joker? Both were great original stories, but Phantasm was more a stand alone story whilst Return was a great story and conclusion to Batman Beyond.

Excellent

Even better!! Any news on what we can expect in bonus features?

I believe so - but I do not know what is planned or if plans have changed.

The animation for the DTV is traditional/2D animation.

Along with Peter Laird's comment:

"I can also say that this project will also show fans the Turtles as they have never before been seen in animation."

What level of animation can we expect?

I would say the animation will be better than anything in BTTS. Even some material we were able to reuse was repainted to really make it look great.

you know how the fights in BTTS were cut down to not so intense as in season 1 -5, will the fights be more bigger and not so cut down? Also will Ultrom Shredder be returning? and will there be a conclusion to the original TMNT since its a mix of both shows. The last show was not really resolved. With Drag gone and no closer on Shredder and Krang. I just wanted to see what became of the technodrome too It was a big part of my childhood

Why must people ask questions they know you can't answer, TMNT4Kids? Do you have enemies here looking to get you fired or what?

It's not just you. There were at least two others asking really specific questions about the plot. While he can narrow down the possibilities for us like he has been doing, he's contractually obligated not to give away all the surprises though I'm sure he wishes he could.

I can't wait for this, and I'm glad it'll be on DVD too. That's going to be cool. I'm sure the people at Comic Con are going to be happy to hear they get to see this.

Sounds exciting. Direct to DVD movies are usually quite good. At least when it comes to animation properties.

I hope the direct to DVD disk has the 3 missing episodes of the old toon on it.

Ahh, it's fun to be a jerk.
