Yeah from Farley. Seems like he sent out one picture and hasn't done anything else since.

The wonderful Ross Campbell did a little somethin' for me and I couldn't be happier. Framed it the second I got it. Got a print of the Leo cover too. I do hope I get my Farley piece soon!

Fantastic piece Powder, probably my favourite Campbell commission I've seen posted here.

this arrived today. got it for a great deal too i know many tmnt fans are not fond of Andy Kuhn's depiction of the turtles, but i happen to like his style. sure there are other artists who's work i prefer, but kuhn has a really interesting style. the only crit i have with his style is the occasional horse teeth look. kuhn has a great eye for action poses and this is one of them. this drawing was used in the making of his Cowabunga print. i'm really stoked to have it and i'm hoping to commission him to fill in the background sometime in the future.
i also met Jim Lawson and Peter Laird the other day and they were kind enough to hook me up with some sketches. they're posted in my collection thread. Last edited by Plasticplayhouse; 12-19-2012 at 12:36 PM. |

I just posted this in the comics forum to show off & hopefully give the talented Dan Berger some PR, but that was before I realized this amazing thread even existed (thanks for the heads up, Powder)! So I'm going to share it here as well:
I got this 14X17 badboy of a commission last week and was floored. It's my first ever commission from my favorite turtle artist, Dan "the MAN" Berger. No one does Leatherhead quite like Berger, so I definitely wanted the big lug present, and flanked by the fearsome foursome of course! I can't stop staring at it. It's becoming a problem. |
