Nick show on Blu-ray?
I know this subject comes up from time to time, but does anyone know if the Nick TMNT series will finally get released as seasons or a complete series on blu-ray?
I mean, the show was made in 1080p and broadcast in 1080i... I don’t understand why they won’t release anything more than 480p DVD... and I *really* want the entire series on blu-ray dammit!!! |

I highly doubt it, although Legend of Korra was released on blu so maybe it's possible.

The last DVD of the remaining Season 5 eps comes out in December, so now the entire series is out on DVD.
If we get a blu-ray it would be next year. I always worked under the assumption they were waiting for all DVDs to be released before they started blu-ray sets, for the obvious reasons the DVDs wouldn't sell if blu-rays came out beforehand. |

I think it would be awesome if we had a special edition Blu-Ray with all the crossover episodes.

I expect blu-ray sets in the future like they did for Korra.

The 2005 Captain Scarlet series had the dvd sets released at the time, and last month (12 years after the show aired) had it 26 episodes released in a stunning HD bluray set.
Thunderbirds is yet to get a BD release, with only dvd releases so far, even tho the the 1960s show got the BD treatment. The Turtles shows are really, very well made and look stunning in 1080. The dvd releases (the only dvds I still buy - got Season 4 and The first U.K. S5release arriving tomorrow) still look good in all honesty, but still need the full HD release. As stated elsewhere, it’s more likely that a full S1-S5 set will be released: first on dvd then maybe, in a year or so, on BD. |

I'll buy the set if they release it but I'm not holding my breath.

Idk... the wannabe voices helps with how OOC they were. I kinda don't want to hear the FW cast voice scenes like the crying scene and whatnot.
