What... Too hard to provide a little shell coverage back there?

I mean, for PD pants technically made sense. They were more real, leaned more human, and the bare green behinds would be more real and kinda awkward sans pants. But cartoons? Come on. I'm not a proponent of the weird, uh, "crotch plate" that some versions have done, such as 2003 and 2012, and nondescript green cartoon crotch shots aren't a big deal...but it can't be that hard to hide the backside with the shell a little more than that, just down the edge of his rump. lol At that rate, just go with shorts...

Or just be bold and give him cheeks.

Tiny ones, since that's a rather tiny Turtle butt.

Nobody has vampire teeth, Raph has full teeth in the other pics. You need to understand the difference in art styles or expressions.

I wouldn't think it should be too soon for the theme song if the eps are already well into production, more than actor recordings. Do they want to reveal it that soon is the question.

I hope the teaser isn't limited to only Twitter, or is posted to YouTube or whatnot later. I'll be at work and videos on Twitter don't play for me anyhow...

Honestly, I'm surprised they are doing something online tomorrow instead of at the Kid's Choice Awards the next day. (Maybe there too?)

Given that this so-called "award show" has turned into more of an annual push for movies and whatnot it would be a shame if it entirely ignores this upcoming series, esp given who is hosting it, again.

Lord. Raph is the main character in like... The vast majority of incarnations. Maybe not the other cartoons, but like most movies and comic series. Not sure he needs it again...

Why don't Mike and Don ever get to be main character? Like ever?

At any rate, these designs are about as ugly as they come. And I am a certified non PD fan! Donatello looks like Lampy from Brave Little Toaster.

Hm, good question. I do like him as a character (not in the first season of 2012 series because he was an outright bully), but perhaps I've become bitter because it's hard to separate him from the favouritism he's received. Also, so what if I didn't like him? I see a lot of Leo and Mikey hate too. My main issue is that Raph fans can't see the favouritism for him throughout TMNT's entire run. Or if they do see it, they think it's reasonable/justified and should continue. I just think it's odd how Raph fans are like, finally it's Raph's turn to shine in this series. And I feel like he always shines. Like it's unfathomable for Mike or Don to be lead. It's always Leo being the "main" character and straight man, Raph being the foil and secondary main character who outshines Leo, and then the two backup guys.

In 2012 series Leo and Don were the leads, but folks must have a short memory because Raph being in the background is an exception!

Did you really have to bring crazy fans into this?

I've seen bad hardcore fans of the turtles all the time. I've seen leo fans who who think he doesn't have any flaws Or Mikey fans who hate Raphael because of his bully persona in the 2012 series. And i've seen hardcore Raphael fans who think he's always justified in his irrational actions and Don fans who think the other turtles are worthless without him. No difference really. You'll find them in every fandom.

Seriously who and what Raphael fans? Casuals? Are you talking about on this forum? and who said that Raphael should always be in the forefront? No really, point them out to me or PM me a link. If Raph fans want him to be portrayed correctly it's a problem but if it's the other fans of the turtles then it's okay?

I don't know why people on here think it's perfectly fine to talk bad about all Raph fans. We all don't think the same, and that accounts for every fan. Way to stereotype.
