Huh. Christopher Nolan was rumored to be looking at doing this one... not sure how I feel about the film without Nolan attached. Need more info.

I like the book and Nolan but he would've been a terrible fit for this movie.
I wonder if this ends up being one of the many movies that Spielberg attaches himself to only to back out. |

I am very curious how they're going to make this work.

A week or so ago it was announced that this will be one of the few Spielberg films without a John Williams score. Alan Silvestri will be writing the music to this one.

More like Reddit Player One.
This book is American Psycho "geek culture" edition. They should've gotten Christian Bale to do the audiobook in his Bateman voice. |

Interesting, but I do prefer documentaries on video games. Still might be fun.

I'm interested to see what role the TMNT with play in this film. Perhaps just a few seconds in the background. I never read the book and only just heard about it today. Is that Leo in the photo?

First trailer paused at one minute in and I think I see Freddy. But might have already been mentioned.

Yeah, Freddy's hard to miss. Will all of these "appearances" from pre-existing characters just sort of be like that? Just "Peekaboo" and then vaporized? If so I don't really see anything to get excited about here.

You can also spot Duke Nukem during that scene.

I would assume so?
But that's based on my having read the book several years ago, and not having a recollection of the tiny details. What I'd be curious about is a list of Book Accurate references vs Movie Adaptation ones. Like, Spoiler:
