Glad to hear that, Duckie.
Took Dad outside and he was out there for four hours. Saw my sis, her hubby, and the boys too so that was fun. Had a nice day. Now it's clouding up like it might rain.

Over here there are some pretty good thunderstorms going on. Nothing beats the feeling of speeding down the highway with the windows rolled down and it pouring down.

After applying to several jobs after coming home on the 10th, I finally landed my first gig. I'll be working at Burger King for the time being; almost got another job at this pizza restaurant called Twisted, but the one mentioned is too far for me right now.
Additionally, after clearing the air of my struggles last year, I'm going to finally be driving officially now. I got my certificate last year, but due to unfortunate circumstances, I never began driving. It'll be mailed in a few days, so I'm getting in better shape now. Once I can get a gym membership and possibly repair issues from school (PM me on that), I'll be in a stronger position. At the least, things are finally looking up after struggling for so long.

Congrats, GM. Glad things are finally working out for you. Sometimes it just takes time for things to fall into place, but they eventually do.
Saw my retinalogist yesterday and all is well as it should be. Now all I have to do is go down to Indy next week for my prosthesis checkup and I'll be good to go for the year. Just hope Dad won't act like a brat. He didn't yesterday which was a plus. Also saw a mother deer and her two fawns. We first saw them on Monday morning and they were in the back of our house before moving to the side. Then, later at dusk, we saw the two fawns laying in our backyard. We saw them again yesterday as they were by the field and were eating apples from our apple tree. Mom went out to see if she could see them better and they were right by the side of our pole barn. I hope we see them again tonight.

Ran to a little fish store to grab some meds that I prob won't have enough for the next two doses in the current container. They're the only place I've seen around here that actually carries the stuff. And my luck, they were out. Knew I should have grabbed it last time, and mentioned it to the guy.
Then he gave me the two days worth that I needed in a baggy from their own larger container at no charge. Amazed really, you don't see things like that too often anymore. And little do they know my fish came from their store so they'd once cared for her themselves, so even if she doesn't pull through, it's a little touching that the guy would just help out for free. Somewhat full circle in a way. Quote:

Went grocery shopping today and got my hair cut so it looks nicer. Definitely feels better than it did before.

My IMac is fixed and slightly upgraded (not the latest upgrade as it's a older model). Now just have to sit going through all the files which were backed up.

not that you need new speakers at the shore..
but my 20 year old creative ones where finally starting to die out. speaking of which, what is new in super thin 4k/3d computer/tv monitors? I want to upgrade my older ten year monitor at home. it's starting to not turn on at times. |

Got my new water bottle in the mail. It's TMNT themed. Surprised me that it came already, but that means I can use it for work tomorrow. (So sue me, it's OotS, but I like that it's just the shape of their masks, kanji, and the title logo, so it feels a bit more 'adult' for work than, say, if I was using a Nick printed one.)
It also came with one of those insulated cups, so it was a good deal, though sadly the exterior wall of the cup fractured in one area of the bottom during shipping. Might never have used it anyhow, so I guess it's no biggie, but still sucks. |

Sounds awesome, Indigo! I just finished watching the Usagi 3-parter and Lone Rat and Cubs, so that made me happy! I have two of those zipper-pulls from the DVD sets on my purse. Had a water bottle too, but it got cracked.

Started working on another chapter of a fan fic yesterday, so that made me happy. Also read more of another awesome story. Only one more chapter to read and then I'm done with that story and will be reading the sequel.
