Well, it happened!

Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76

Death comes to everyone sooner or later but I am grateful that we had this brilliant mind for decades

Sad. Kinda makes you wonder what thoughts he had on the universe that we might never know about. (At least not until someone else figures it out, if there was any validity to it.)

But... at least he no longer has to put up with living in that physical state he was stuck with for so long.

What an amazing life. A rolemodel for sure. Despite his physical disabilities he was a nice and funny man with a brilliant mind.

Lucky to have such a mind in our lifetime.

RIP Stephen

His Sister (Mary Hawking) was a Doctor (GP) at my Doctor Surgery in my home town, she wasn't my main GP but I did see her a couple of times, she was actually my grandparents main GP. She retired a few years ago.

On a more serious note, RIP Mr. Hawking. Enjoyed reading about your work, and seeing your occasional appearances on TV.

It's quite admirable how he managed to live so long with that condition of his. He was very brave.
