I can not WAIT for the vid mashups of Capaldi's other work with these visuals.

The trailer has arrived. This will be a great end of summer film for me to see before I go back to work.

It turns out that Chris O'Dowd won't be doing Tigger's voice after all. Jim Cummings is once again providing the character's voice according to the Disney Movie Trailer channel.
Quote:
Maybe the studio realized that it would've been a big mistake to change the classic voice of such a beloved character like they almost did in A Goofy Movie. Bill Farmer at one point had to record with his natural speaking voice, but he didn't like that idea and neither did Roy Disney or Michael Eisner. They had even reportedly considered Steve Martin to do Goofy's voice. |

Tigger’s fur is the most watered down orange color imaginable, like an old ragged plush toy compared to the others. I prefer him to be striking and bright like Piglet, but ah well that’s my critic.
It looks okay, the tone is better than the earlier trailers about depressingly sad, old, wrinkly and dying Christopher Robin anyway. Here it shows there’s an actual fun and adventure to be had. |

Why do you keep referring to him as "dying"? Nothing about this film hints that he's dying.

This is so cute. I hope they show each of their houses. The inside of them. It looks like it in the shot of Pooh looking through the window.

Saw the trailer before reading here, thought "I'm glad they've got Jim in" and was completely correct there heh. Capaldi as Rabbit will be interesting heh.

I just read that Richard Sherman, the surviving member of the Sherman brothers, has written three new songs for the film's soundtrack. The classic song "Winnie the Pooh" will also be heard.
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...613-story.html This shouldn't come as a surprise since this is was his baby along with his late brother Robert. It would've been really nice had he done some work on the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns, but that project has his support. |

I saw the poster of the characters relaxing at the beach when I went to see Won't You Be My Neighbor yesterday. Since Christopher Robin is about one month away from being released, here's everything you need to know about it.

With just 30 days left until the film hits the big screen, Disney has just released a new teaser.

As more trailers come out its getting confusing, so more than Robin can see them now? This is supposed to be all in his imagination, only he should be able to see him. I don't count that child's show spin off that plays on Disney Jr either, I feel that's not connected at all. Also, where's Rabbit?

Inside the Magic did an interview with the legendary and amazingly talented Jim Cummings. He talks about this folm and some of his other well-known work.
https://insidethemagic.net/2018/07/i...more/#comments Also, the real reason why Disney had Cummings reprise his role of the voice of Tigger instead of the originally announced Chris O’Dowd’ was because O'Dowd's voice received negative responses from test screenings . It was reportedly inconsistent and he didn't even use any of Tigger's iconic sounds or phrases. https://discussingfilm.wordpress.com...why-exclusive/ It really does sound like the time when Disney almost changed the iconic voice of the titular character in A Goofy Movie. Thank goodness they kept it the same because it would've completely ruined the character and the film. |
