Kevin Wilson posted what dice April, Casey, and Splinter use:

"Let's see, non-turtle dice sides. Sure...

April
Move, Katana, Double-Shuriken, Shell, Chi, Chi.

Casey
Move, Move, Katana, Double-Katana, Shuriken, Chi.

Master Splinter
Double Move, Double Katana, Double Shuriken, Katana and Shell, Chi, Chi.

There you go.

Incidentally, Master Splinter's MOVE and LIFE are both fairly low..."

Splinter has each of the four Turtles' special side of dice and two Chi...damn.

Somewhere in the 20,000 plus comments on the Kickstarter...might be a pain to search back through.

For those who Kickstarted the game, they posted a PDF of the Rules, and of the first scenario of a Bebop and Rocksteady mission, with them as Enhanced Minions (the human variant perhaps, or pre fully mutated).

Getting excited to finally get my copy of the game, it looks like fun.

Am I the only one that thinks it's odd that they sent out the full rule book as a PDF? Surely that's the heart of the game which has no doubt been uploaded a 1000 times across the internet by now. People who want to play the game using other minis (or the TMNT heroclix) can do so.

Not complaining, I do like having the PDF, but just thought they'd protect their IP a bit better than that.

I don't find it odd at all. Every board game has their rules posted somewhere, most on their official website.

@PartyWolf - Most board games release their rulebooks as PDFs. What it doesn't include is all the card text, so you can't play it on your own really.

As for updates, this was posted on Wednesday:

Quote:
Hello backers!

It's been a while, and for that I apologize. It's taken a lot of careful consideration in preparing this update. We've been in long conversations with printers and licensors ensuring this news would be as accurate as possible and the plan moving forward would be clearly outlined.

Obviously we're now in July, and progress is not where it needs to be. The enthusiasm and confidence for this project since day one has been incredibly high. From our internal team, to our license partners, to our printer, there's been a clear vision and a path to victory.

Unfortunately that enthusiasm has proven to be somewhat over-confident. The sheer scale of this project is the biggest thing our team has ever undertaken, and the hours of work required and eyes required on each detail was far and above anything done prior.

As these last few months have gone by, we've been in non-stop rounds of revision with everyone involved on the project. As tools we thought complete have come in off-size scale and we've had to go through several rounds of revision and approval.

However, as of today, we have held in our hands, a perfectly scaled and sized round of tooled miniatures that are approved by everyone that needs to approve them and we can officially show off a few here. (The set has already left our building to be returned to China as our man over there will be observing pack out and maintaining quality.)

So. With this step complete full production is in swing. That's great. The downside of that is delivering a new timeline to you all.

We now will be revising the timeline to an October delivery date. If you need to change shipping addresses we can work with the pledgemanager to do so.

We apologize for the lengthy delay, and in this news coming out in this timing. It was our intention that there would only be one update of this type and we have worked closely with everyone on the project to ensure that this is the only time we have to come to you with an adjusted timeline.

Moving forward, with the intense struggles of production complete, we'll have more time to communicate here with you all. Sharing process pics, updates, and fun game content.
So the game is delayed until at least October.

Booo!! ...but I think we all saw this coming, so that's not a big deal. Just a bummer I won't have it ready for my birthday next month.

Ah well.

This baby should be in the mail soon, so, I suppose that'll have to do.

Was something said by IDW regarding the misprint in issue 5 of Bebop & Rocksteady?
It was supposed to contain the 2nd part of a TMNT boardgame scenario yet only reprinted the 1st part from issue 4.

Eventually, it was stated on KS that this scenario will be included in the boardgame box. I was thrilled to read this.
Apparently, it was kind of a compensation for the delay.

Just two days after you posted:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/1654879

Bar any other issues, it seems to still be on schedule for the current October release date for backers.

Apparently, the Works box is so big, you're cautioned to be careful when opening it, as the vacuum effect could damage the box (specifically the corners) if you're a bit rough in the opening. The box is nearly six inches tall to fit everything in, and is not small (7.4 lbs).

Can't wait to finally get my game. Too bad it was before my friend's recent birthday part...there were five of us ready to play tabletop games and everything.

Well, we didn't get a full unboxing video (since it apparently took them over half an hour to try), but they did take some video and images of the Works edition:

Impressive! I'm especially interested to know more about the exclusive comic. The original artwork on the character cards seem cool too.

Well, my copy of The Works edition came in at an impressive 8.9 lbs. It's quite the beauty. Comics, plastic figures, cards, dice, character sheets, tokens, maps, etc. Tons of missions and options.

I can't wait to finally play it.
