We're lucky these are being produced at all. I know it's not under the best of conditions; I just don't understand the sense of entitlement. Playmates may have set the terms, but NECA has agreed to them, and by extension, so have we. Better that they exist than not, no? And if it really bothers someone that much, then the choice is easy -- don't get them.

On those comp game TMNT figures: I got a double edged sword email today.
First, my sets are in hand..... but....... contractually they can't be in my hands till the day of SDCC !!!! hahaha!!
Ah well, something to look forward when I get back from holiday.
I was also told that there are a lot more Turtles sets than Shredder sets by a fairly big margin.

The only sense of entitlement is on part of Playmates.

You need to stop.

C'mon everyone. Enough with the pot shots. I just want to talk about the NECA awesomeness that is coming out this year and in the future.

I wasn't arguing with anything. I asked why they thought that $25 per figure was overpriced. Once I had the provided context, that made more sense. I have no issue with people being upset with Playmates, given what I've learned since I've been spending more time here. I was simply looking for context.

I wish I was paid by Playmates ... it would make the uncalled for harassment much easier to take when I ask a simple question.

Please see Lil Karai's post above this one. I apologize if any offense was caused. Let's just talk about NECA, yeah?

I wouldn't expect them to make those, but I'm sure they'd do a great job if they did.

If the were making Neva bayturtles, I'd want an accurate Krang figure.

Could NECA pull the same stunt as companies like Marmit have in the past where they release figures in pieces, and marketing them as ‘model kits’? The pieces are pre-painted and articulated, but not connected. I believe Marmit did it that way to get around the limitations of their Star Wars licence. This is sounding kind’a desperate at this point isn’t it.

Yeah... unless the studio basically offered him something really good... I don't see it happening.

Randy mentioned that there were no plans for IDW-based figures.
