Its the first encounter. We wanted to see what we think of when we think of Power Rangers, the original lineup of Mighty Morphin. Less said about the referred to crossover the better so ancient fan rage does not resurface.

Plot-wise, why is the Green Ranger working with The Shredder? That seems to be the central question.

Yeah, its a take off of MMPR#1 from Boom!, but there was a variant for all six of the original rangers. I guess they could not decide which turtle should have whichever helmet so they just went with red? Educated guess.

Will Lord Zedd meet The Shredder? PLEASE! This will make it better!

One major thing we will need is a splash page that has a rooftop scene that combines the ranger roll call pose with the Tmnt #1 cover.

I could see Mike getting a kick out of it pointing out the cheesiness. It could be done effective to older audience though. So the final fight, will it take place in a city of cardboard buildings or a quarry?

The putties always attack the park. Cardboard buildings are reserved for mecha fights. Beaches? Hmmm...there were a few Zyu2 stretch fights there I had forgotten. Perhaps two fights stick out the most which were from that, both were in a quarry, the Arnold Schwarzenegger gargoyle locking fist with the Green Ranger and the soccer ball armadillo monster being kicked out of the way with a save from the Green Ranger.

Oomari Hill? Warehouse? I don't remember those. There was that gym that the Red Ranger briefly fought King Sphinx as a unique location.

Oh yeah I forgot the small stage. There is a lot of on set places Toei films in. My favorite has to be the indoor stadium, but it’s rarely used (I recall twice used for 555 and Decade)

I'm trying to figure out, can the original six be stealthy? I know some groups have it as a trademark and there was a ninja theme in the third season, but its a trademark of the TMNT and not something I think of when I think of MMPR. The shared martial arts sure, but their stealth? Picturing the MMPR in the sewers also is an odd image to conjure just as odd as the TMNT inside mechas. Cyber Turtles don't count.

They really didn't get stealth to season three. I don't think Power Rangers inherited Sentai's Costume changes until later seasons.

Looks like Tommy is out of costume. So it could lean in the undercover direction opposed to some mind control bit. The question of why Zordon did not clue in the others or was it not signed off by him?

Here's a question: will the comic have to borrow half of its art from the Japanese Super Sentai comic?

I always wanted to see a reverse engineered sentai. Where a sentai would be created from the american part (like a japanese film using the 2017 Power Rangers movie footage)
