Double post for awesome! I actually laughed at this the entire way through. The energy of it is fantastic. Reggie is really starting to get his comedic timing down.

Too bad this doesn't imply a new Punchout like originally thought when they tweeted that one image of Reggie in the pink hoodie, they were just referencing a ton of old Nintendo games. Like the DKC screen, the Virtual Boy, Mario Galaxy music in the background, etc.
Shame, would love a new Punchout on Wii-U. |

The people who thought that are A) idiots and B) lacking in common sense.
Why the f*ck would Nintendo announce a new Punch-Out TODAY? Why wouldn't they keep it for E3? Everyone should have known it was going to be a video like they did last year and nothing more. Typical NeoGAF/Twitter/Reddit overreaction though. On top of that, I honestly don't get this sudden round of begging for a new Punch-Out. There's nothing new you can do with those games. Go back and play the previous three games, because they're all pretty much the same thing anyways. I never saw a god damn PEEP about people wanting new Punch-Out until that picture went up, then suddenly it's the thing everyone wants most. How about asking for games that actually deserve proper sequels instead? |

Are there any SNES OST's that sound similar to Starfox's? Like, same synth sounds & style. Kinda how Sunset Riders sounds like it could be the sequel to Turtles In Time.

Yeah, I'm sdp, didn't mean to "trick" anyone here. I just wanted a generic name for when I posted in the TMNT sections. Which I haven't even felt like doing since Krang actually changed the name. And my post was only an observation since it's what I thought Cure's post was going to contain before I even read the comment.
I don't think Nintendo can top E3 from last year, they're definitely trying though and it seems they took feedback from last year, instead of the Smash tournament this year they'll have the "World Championships" instead which I expected a similar tournament but based off Splatoon. The Direct I'm sure will be somewhat fun like last time but I doubt it'll be able to top the Robot Chicken stint from last year. My expectations aren't too high, I expect Star Fox to be the big announcement with some smaller surprises but nothing huge but that should be fine to keep me happy. Of course last year I also had low expectations and they more than delivered, it'd be awesome if they do that again but I won't get those hopes up. Some stuff that I'd like to see that isn't "big" is details on their new post-Club Nintendo service. I also think one of the "small surprises" might be either a VC release of the Nintendo World Championships or a new Nintendo WC game for the eshop, seems like something simple they could do, the only reason I'm not 100% sure about this is that NES Remix already filled a lot of those shoes. I'm unsure how I feel about the CEO and President of Nintendo becoming caricatures of themselves. It was fine when it was just something from gaming forums since the users are basically kids (/at heart) so we're all just playing. A reference here or there on said caricatures in their conferences was a fun nod but they've outright embraced it and pandering the "core" gamers but while they can "win" the fans, I'm not sure how well it is to actually do it The only industry were this is also done that I can think of is professional wrestling. I'm sure they are doing are very qualified and doing a great job at their respected positions and see this as marketing but still, I'm not sure everyone understands it, especially gamers who like to play armchair CEO's of companies they love. I've been playing F-zero X (yes, the N64 version), and I'm surprised how much it still holds up. F-zero GX completely overshadows in it every way, but for an old N64 racer from 1998 its still pretty damn fun. And fast, the speed is pretty good.
I honestly wouldn't mind if F-zero X gets a 3DS remake ala Starfox/Ocarina/Majora's Mask. Especially with that X cup random track editor. |

Hyrule Warriors is coming to 3DS it seems. Weird, the original game is only 9 months old. It has Wind Waker characters in it though, and they carry over to the Wii U version.

That is weird. Not gonna double dip, though. I wish I could just get a code to DL it for already having the main console version.
