No ab articulation on the new Shredder torso, but he looks good. New torso, new head and cape.

Maybe it will be an 8-pack this time?
The four Turtles, Shredder and three Foot Soldiers?

I really doubt we will get Krang, April, Splinter, Bebop, Rocksteady or any other characters, but I hope I'm wrong.

With the minimal new parts for the Foot and Shredder, maybe there's a Bubble Walker Krang as the final reveal.

That Shredder head sculpt looks great, if only they went the extra mile and sculpted new arms/legs/armor to be toon accurate, instead of re-using parts from comic Shredder. OT Shredder not supposed to have cloths wrapped around wrists, and supposed to have metal straps attached to arm and leg armor. I'm surprised NECA didn't go all out on that one, cause I know they're all about accuracy. I will still be getting it and possibly modifying the minor inaccuracies.

I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons.

Yeah, it is a bit distracting to see the smooth helmet together with the armor bits that have scratches on them.

man as much as I am sick of Fred Wolf Merch this set looks cool. It makes me hate playmates even more. I wish these could get retail releases instead of the expensive Con prices. But whatever.

It works out to be $25 per figure. Standard NECA figs are $20-25. But yeah, there's the shipping cost on that too. Looks like the case size will be more shipping friendly than last year's releases though.
