TMNT rumored to come to Fortnite
Paramount is working with Epic Games to bring characters to Fortnite, and the TMNT are rumored to be a part of it.

More exposure - the better.
As long as its not Rise or Bay Turtles. |

Honestly, I think we’ve moved past for Rise/Bay Turtles. Anything cross promotional has been a really “updated” version of the classic look aka Injustice and SMITE.

Yeah it'll probably be the '87 Turtles coming to Fortnite only.

Yeah more then likely it'll be the 87 TMNT, That version of TMNT is making a comeback thanks to the upcoming Shredder's Revenge game, So I see them releasing the 87 versions to go along side with the release of that game.

That probably 12 people outside of this board will play.

I want a Kamen rider version. Specifically Ryuki.
Imagine 14 advent decks (so including Abyss) being let into the map and the player that finds the deck allows them to transform into that Rider with their Advent cards and everything.

I know it's January, but I didn't expect to see some freezing cold takes today.

Isn’t Fortnite like the Funko of video games? They license everyone and appeal to those with poor taste :p.

It's a hugely popular F2P game and does have a crapton of licenses that collaborate with the game (due to said game's massive popularity), but these qualities don't detract from it being fun. I realize that taste is subjective, but I feel like a lot of the negativity toward Fortnite is mostly because of how immensely popular it is, especially among younger people, and not because of the game's quality.

That's probably very true!
I'll never play it because I don't do online multiplayer games and/or shooters, but I do get annoyed at having to constantly hear about it. But that's not the game's fault, it's society's for taking anything popular and running it into the ground. It's probably fun.

It's really not bad. I had a couple buddies I was playing it with for about 2 weeks a couple of years ago. I could play it and I wasn't terrible at it but it's just too much. Running around shooting and sniping people while avoiding getting killed is enough for me without having to worry about building a bunch of stuff while I'm at it. For me, it's a little bit like when I was trying to learn to play the drums, keeping two or three different beats simultaneously going... there's no way. I'll f*** it up or at the very least stop enjoying it quickly.
What I DID start playing around then and what I'm playing a lot more of again now is "Paladins." Sort of the same idea except there's no parachuting in and there's no building stuff. I got a Rambo (yes, actual Rambo) skin for Viktor that has made it even more fun.

It's basically, "The Hunger Games" in videogame form. A group of 20-30 people try to kill each other to be the last one standing before time runs out and the map constantly shrinks with poison gas as the player count drops.
So basically it's a free for all battle royale. It's cel-shaded so everything looks like a cartoon, but that's why it's very popular with kids/teens today. |

Well, I don't play it, but if it does happen it better be good designs and available as figures to make up for the overdone pinata llama merchandise.

My buddy has been obsessed with the game lately and really been trying to talk me into it ... but I'm not really a fan of third person shooters. The TMNT would be enough for me to at least try it out.
