Now now, I seen all ten seasons on DVD, and being older now, than vs being a kid,

I am kinda of shock that the show did make a big focus drawing wise on April's butt, and yes, her top.



Look at that, tied up looking all sexy with her c size pretty much being the focus here.



And look at this?? That is a pretty big focus on April's booty right there. I didnt notice it as a kid, but watching it now that I am older, the show seem to like to " show off April" so to speak. You get shots like that though out the first 7 or 8 seasons before April left the yellow jump suit look. Like it or not, it happen and its something no one can pretend didnt happen .

Yes, there's no denying that the show portrayed April in those ways.

I just didn't realize people still got off on OT April.

I suppose,but even as a kid, I felt April was super hot, I was more focus at her face and red hair when I was what? 7 when the first airing of Turtle tracks I think it was. But watching most shows from the 80's, April was not the only one.

Ariel from Thundarr, Teela from He-man, and a few others that slips my mind were all drawn super sexy. And like April the focus were well on certain body parts. Teela had that odd looking snake bra armor thing, and Ariel was fighting in a swim suit .

I suppose it was just a 80's thing?

I recall 2 times with the bath robe, the first when the turtles trash her house in the first season I think.

A season or 2 later, when her apartment gets robbed and the turtles return her stuff after defeating the robbers trying to sell her stuff on the street.

Or about the time "Mickey" Shredder was looking down April's yellow jump suit. Yes his eyes are looking at April's chest and checking her out.

This was one big prevented show lol.

Or when Burns was going to fire April, and April does all the sexy pose's to try to keep her job. I was watching that and I was thinking, April is just fighting for her job, she didn't need to do a model pose off.

It's not like OT April got any less hot over the years. Compared to the kid we have now.... OT April is still the hottest looks-wise.

But April OT April that is did came at a time when women were drawn as , well you get the point lol.

April was drawn with a big butt and well some big breast. Funny most cartoon women in the 1980's were drawn that way, The 3 biggest examples are April O'Neil, Teela and Princess Ariel from Thundarr.

Since the webpage I used for pics is down for the movement I hope this work.

But here is Teela and Ariel and the big focus on MOST of the 1980's cartoons.
It was just the era I guess.

Yeah back then everyone was drawn realistic looking sorta. Nowadays everyone is either drawn with weird jagged edges and angular or they're literally a bunch of squares and triangles slapped together. Everyone is drawn more stylized and less real and in a way, more cartoony.
