The SNES one.
I remember back when it came out,all the reviews said it was the closest to streetfighter2. so lacking? Can't say I agree. I really want a new tmnt fighting game.Thought smash-up might be it,but no..... |

Closest to Street Fighter 2 back when it came out when there were almost no other good fighters besides SF2.
Those days are long gone. I'm sorry, I just really dislike tournament fighters.

I don't agree, but I respect your opinion I wish(dream) that a smash-up sequel would maybe focus more on 2pl. instead of 4pl. bigger levels would be great too,but still keep the interactive/changing parts atleast 20 characters, but hopefully 40 or something keep the ones in the game and add: Ratking Slash Baxter Stockman(fly, scientist and robot) Leatherhead Renet Usagi and some original ones too |

I felt that TMNT the game (Based on the 2k7 movie to be clear) was a step in the right direction.
A platform/action game in the style of the latest Ninja Gaiden games would be awesome.

Hell yeah to both of those statements. Though it was at times a slight bit repetitive, TMNT was a GREAT game.

I still maintain that a TMNT fighting game based on Turtles Forever would be pretty cool. It may not have every single character that are on most-wanted lists, but you have a good mix of about 20 or so characters from the Turtles' history available, and you could have several alternate costumes for a majority of the characters taken straight from TF.

Well, obviously, a sequel to Tournament Fighters would be developed to today's fighting game standards, not yesteryear where SFII was God and all you could do was get "close" to it.

Lacking in the sense that the controls were a bit wierd as opposed to the smoother Street fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 2 controls... Although it is by far the best TMNT fighting game that I have played, but considering the other two suck and Smash Up is a different level of dissapointment, that's not saying much. I really need to play the Snes version again to get a better opinion on it.
