Another two sketch covers... click through for bigger images of both. Both done by a guy called Gary Parkin here in the UK. Didn't know a whole bunch about him beforehand, but I liked the work, and it didn't cost very much either

Another sketch cover, another artist I didn't really know called Nate Lyon, but hey, if the price is right, then why not, hmmm?

Some pages from another UK artist called Simon Wyatt... unpublished, but he was almost a proper artist on the TMNT franchise...

My IDW Limited 30th Anniversaries turned up (and without Customs fees somehow)... of the sketchcards, got a nice Nick version of Casey by Jeremy Treece... and a Berger. Not too shabby overall!

Usagi related pieces acquired at SDCC this year (click through for bigger images). First, a b/w commission featuring Jei versus Usagi...

Next, a watercolour portrait of our favourite rhino Gen...

Finally, a rather special piece. My brother sneakily contacted Stan in advance of the show, as it would be my 40th birthday shortly after SDCC ended. And in good fashion, Stan painted this special watercolour for me. He really is the nicest man in comics...

I'll get to putting up the TMNT related stuff tomorrow, as there's a fair bit of that to process...

Okay, here we go... there's quite a lot going down now heh. As before, click through on the smaller images to go to CAF for the larger versions of the artwork. I'm doing this so you can see the thumbnails and save on bandwidth, and if you want to see it in better quality, that's your choice

First up, a set of postcard size sketches of the four turtles and Shredder by James Silvani, better known for his Disney work.

Next, also by James Silvani, a rendition of Timon and Pumbaa as Bebop and Rocksteady. Funny and ridiculous at the same time...

Third, a set of TMNT acquisitions isn't anything without something by Kevin Eastman...

Fourth on the radar, two commissions by Mike Dooney...

Fifth, a TMNT related commission from David Petersen, which he says was one of the strangest and difficult pieces he'd been asked to do. Hopefully you find it as amusing as I did asking for it.

Sixth and finally, two original Ross Campbell pages from the Return to Northampton arc. Page 4 from issue #31, and page 8 from issue #32.
