Okay, so technically not a toy bootleg, but...

Anyone have any clue what this is?

Found it in a junk bag of toys at a flea market today.

Its clearly Merdude.. has an eyepatch and everything.

No maker mark.. so i'm assuming KO?

I know there was a Casey Jones from the same set, & I THINK they're of Argentinian origin. Beyond that, no idea.

Anyone have any info on this guy? I found one at a little antique/collector shop for $5. The one I bought has an orange bandana. I tried doing some quick searching on google but only found this picture. He's about 6 or 7 inches tall, made of ceramic and has a hole in the bottom like a bank but no coin slot.

Does anyone have the bootlegs of the 2016 sdcc exclusive Arcade Turtles? I wasn’t able to get my hands on the official release and I’m wondering what the quality of the ones coming out of China now are?
Thanks

I know it's a little late on the ceramic turtles with the hole in the bottom; it's to aid in the baking process for the ceramic, to let out the hot air so it won't get trapped inside and subsequently make the clay explode/break.

I purchased a set of the knockoff arcade turtles and I absolutely love the ones I received. The joints are tight, the paint detail is nice and they truly look and feel like the real deal. A coworker has the real set and I honestly cannot tell much of a difference. This is just for the turtles though, as I never bought the Foot set, but I did buy Shredder...which is decent quality as well.

You seriously cannot beat the price either. My knockoff set cost under $30 for all four turtles.

Thanks for the info! I do have a Ko arcade shredder and it’s joint and paint apps are great, I was hoping the turtles would be the same.
Mind if I ask where you got yours? I just purchased a set on eBay, but it was nowhere near as good of a deal as the price you paid.

I purchased my set off eBay as well, but I got them right as the bootlegs were first beginning to surface. Mine were all loose and came in a bubble mailer, but there was absolutely no damage in transit. They have all their accessories as well.

I was hoping the SDCC 2017 was going to get the bootleg treatment, but I never managed to find any so I purchased each real deal figure separately. Worth it in the end, but I'd much rather pay between $30 - $50 for a knockoff set if they are just as good as the real thing.

Been looking for the 2016 Nycc mirage foot clan set bootlegs too, but can’t find anything under $100. Can anyone help me out?

I‘m curious if the offers with packaging are legit even when they are from China.

I’ll let you know when the arcade turtles arrive, they were pictured with packaging. But I’m not so sure about the foot clan

Sorry, I mean the NYCC mirage foot gang.
The Arcade bootlegs are sold in packaging and loose.

Hmm, I'm not so sure I've encountered bootlegs of the NYCC Mirage Shredder/Foot set. I ended up purchasing a set in box from a reputable eBay seller for $100. I felt it was well worth the price considering how much each figure goes for individually.

I totally would have gone the bootleg route for these, but I never found any.

That’s all I’m seeing too, but a few of them are from China (stellar eBay ratings) so I’m assuming they are bootlegs. I’m trying to talk myself into getting a set, but I have a hard time paying $100+ for bootlegs especially when I don’t know the quality.

So I got my bootleg arcade figures (still waiting on the foot ones) and I seriously could not be happier! I took a quick pic with the first real poses I got them in but it doesn’t do them justice.
