i briefly wanted to ask this from the SNES Tournament Fighters. Who is the woman in the game (not Karai) but the other one.

Her name started with an "A" and shame on me for not knowing this, but I don't remember her from the comics.

What part did she have with the turtles?

I say again though: great game...definitely would play it again if i could.

Her name was Aska. She was never seen in any other TMNT anything. However, reverse-engineering has evidenced that she was originally intended to be Princess Mitsu. Someone posted a link to a page about it not too long ago.

This seems like the right place to ask. Has anyone ever actually beaten the SNES Tournament Fighters on anything above level-3 difficulty? I broke it out again the other day thinking it couldn't be that hard, but it goes above and beyond a normal fighting game challenge. The computer is actually set to mimic or counter all your moves as soon as you enter them. It's nearly impossible to even get close to some characters.

If you keep spamming the same move over and over again, you can beat it on the highest difficulty.

I keep spamming Raphael's power drill or Shredders forward slash attack and you can win the whole thing despite a number of losses. You have unlimited continues in the main tournament mode so keep at it.

I meant to put this in my last thread but forgot:

Genesis Tournament Fighters...Karai was the enemy, but I gotta say: the turtles fighting clones of their friends was a storyline that I didn't like. Was their an issue in the Turtles' comics that brought about the turtles fighting clones of themselves or was this a brand new idea.

Overall, I wasn't pleased with that storyline, and thus why I voted SNES Tournament Fighters as my favorite.

Wii online gaming. Good luck getting THAT to work.

I Hated the Genesis and Nes versions ( which I owned but disliked so much I sold them *blasphemy I know*) and the Snes one was nice to look at but not super fun.
I never played Mutant Melee so i dunno about that one.
Smash Up is fun to play with two-three friends but is still very lacking. The best thing about that game is the crocodile/alligator that can kill you or your opponent. SO i choose smash-up. At least it has more characters than any of the Tournament Fighter games and has some cool unlockable content.

The NES one just has that old 8-bit fighting gaming charm. I can't see what's not to like.

It is kinda cool since there weren't many fighters on the nes, but that novelty goes away pretty quick.

I didn't like the fact that the Turtles didn't get to use their trademark weapons.
