So they've put out a short film called "Battle at Big Rock," sort of a Jurassic World 2.5.

Pretty cool, won't it for a while though, saving it for a later time. Hope it was awesome. There was also a shorter 4 minute prequel to Fallen Kingdom in VR that was pretty cool.

In other news it's basically confirmed ellie/grant/malcolm are all returning for JW3, it's meant to be a "good bye" to the films and yet not a final movie since they also imply it'll continue.

Lego Jurassic World will have a series, and there are already 3 22 minute shorts which were released and also a real non lego JW show for netflix coming. It's a good time to be a jurassic fan.

Colin Trevorrow has found a way to bring back the original cast of Jurassic Park, as the director announced that Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are set to reprise their iconic roles in Jurassic World 3.

Goldblum and Dern originally fell in love while making the original. Even though they broke up a few years later, it must’ve been mutual since they don’t mind working together again. It reminds me of when Helena Bonham Carter worked with Kenneth Branagh again in 2015's Cinderella despite their split from several years ago after they began a relationship while doing Frankenstein.

Sam Neil's Grant will die off-camera and Laura Dern will heroically cover everyone's escape by driving a truck into an oncoming herd of dinos. Jeff Goldblum's character will sit there, unmoving in a chair laughing nonsensically the whole time, while Justin Smith runs around screaming Pineda's character name across the film. Pineda will mull around looking pretty to take us through the new Park adventure, but we won't ever learn anything relevant about her. I could explain Pratt and Howard's roles, but I don't want to spoil his death from a high bridge or her seemingly flying through the underwater ocean after being pulled out of a vessel destroyed by a water dinosaur.

No, Goldblum will talk about how all of this is all the fault of white males since the beginning of the series and repeatedly apologize for it to everybody who will listen. And probably will undergo a sex change halfway through.

Except that's not true and nothing indicates this will be ruined by progressive stuff, them two returning are not my favorite pics, Daniella pineda should've died in Fallen Kingdom and Justice Smith's humor doesn't belong in Jurassic Park, but I'm ok with them returning. If it really is another "end of a story" as they're promoting it they better bring back someone from The Lost World and the Kirby's from JP///.

I've only seen the first Jurassic World and it sucks so much I doubt I will ever bother to see the second and the third.

The movies really surrendered all they had to say with Lost World. Which apparently we're supposed to hate now. There has been nothing new since.

And let's stop calling the new one Jurassic World 3. It's clearly Jurassic Park 6.

I actually thought Jurassic World was the best movie since the first one to be honest. It was a classic Dinosaur romp, which is about all you can ask from these movies.

The next one I thought was fun all the way until around the mansion stuff took place. Like the other JP movies, there's something more fascinating about seeing people in Dinosaur territory than seeing Dinosaur's in people territory.

I would love to the Dr. Hammond's grandkids or Ian's daughter. It'd make sense for Tim and Lex to have wanted to continue somehow the legacy of their grandfather and Kelly Malcolm since her dad is in both FK and now here. I'm guessing they'll all be glorified cameos so why not them? Most likely their opinions on dinosaurs on the mainland and that's it.

It's being called JP6 right now but the Jurassic World branding is too strong, it'll be JW: Subtitle when it releases.

In a way this movie having dinosaurs in the mainland as something normal is doing something new with the franchise even if I personally prefer the island setting but whatever.
