It's nice to see something along the lines of the Transformers community of dedication being done on the wiki now. Keep up the great work and I will pitch in when I can.

I'm back!!!!

Episode 26: The Fifth Turtle
Written by: Francis Moss

Cast:
@ James Avery: Shredder
@ Townsend Coleman: Michaelangelo, Walt? (TV.com lists Nicholas Omana)
@ Cam Clark: Leonardo, Rocksteady
@ Jennifer Darling: Irma
@ Pat Fraley: Krang, Burne Thompson, Punk 2
@ Barry Gordon: Donatello, Bebop
@ Renae Jacobs: April O’Neil
@ Rob Paulsen: Raphael, Zach
@ Peter Renaday: Splinter, Vernon Fenwick, Punk 1

Mistakes:
1. Despite appearing on screen only a few minutes, the punks who harass Donatello and Raphael voices change.
2. When Zach helps the turtles, Raph is colored as Leo. (2:3
3. Krang’s hands when he’s first show are red, but when he gives Shredder “an astronomy lesson” they are flesh tone and then turn back to red.
4. The transport module whirs, but goes nowhere for a few seconds.
5. When Leo comments on something sticky on the floor of the van, he steps into something in the sewer floor.
6. When Rocksteady and Bebop explain the plan in Zach’s room, one of Rocksteady’s horns is grey, not white.
7. Though Zach returned Raphael’s Turtle Com, he somehow has one in his room. (He is given one at the end of the episode.)
8. As Donatello spells out Shredder’s plan, his mouth doesn’t move.
9. Raphael’s shoulder is brown when he and Mikey are tied to their chairs.
10. The placement of the tied up Turtles changes from scene to scene.

Pizza References:
1. The other Turtles interrupt Donatello’s studies of a rare astrological phenomenon for a late night mozzarella run. Raphael: Hey, planetary alignments come and go, but pizza is forever!
2. The billboard outside Channel 6 is an ad for pizza.
3. The sticky substance on the floor of the van can’t be pizza. Mikey hasn’t eaten any in it for a “whole month”
4. As part of Zach’s tour of the lair, he is treated to a hot fudge and anchovy pizza.
5. He also sees Donatello working on a container that “Michaelangelo’s pizza sauce won’t dissolve.”
6. Michaelangelo tells Zach they could meet the Turtle Fan club at pizzeria openings.

Catchphrase Countdown:
1. Shredder calls the Turtles “Meddlesome Reptiles”
2. Zach almost says “Turtle Power!” but falls off his bike mid catchphrase.
3. Shredder called Bebop and Rocksteady “clumsy ignoramuses.”

Pop Culture References:
1. Some of Zach’s toys include a E.T look alike, a Raggedy Ann (or Andy).
2. Raph asks Zach, “Who ya gonna call, Mutant Busters?” when he asks for Don’s Turtle Com, a parody of Ghost Busters.

Wacky Inventions:
1. Capsidium Crystals

Forth Wall Breaking Humor:\
1. When Shredder tells the Turtles they won’t stop him, Mikey chimes in with, “Get serious dude, they don’t call this the Shredder Show.”

Notables:
1. The Turtles again use their Tor Johnson masks.
2. From a Rob Paulsen fan stand point, it’s amusing that Raphael is the Turtle who saves Zach from the swinging pendulum.
3. Though he seldom calls the Turtles this, Splinter refers to Zach as, “My son.”

Voice Chasers and the Technodrome main page both also have Walt being voiced by Nicholas Omana.

I know, but I could swear it sounded like Townsend Coleman, like that hadn't cast Omana yet...but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if that's not just an alt name for Coleman. For what purpose would they do that though?

P.S. - Hooray for back in businessness!

Here's an open question for you Old Toon chronology experts:

Did the Neutrino royal family (Zenter, Gizzla, and baby Tribble) appear in any other episodes besides "Four Turtles and a Baby"? That's the only appearance I can remember, but it seems the TMNT are already familiar with them by that episodes so I'm wondering if they were introduced earlier.

No, that was their first and only appearance.

Thanks! I'll take your word for it. Off hand, do you know if the classic Neutrino trio ever explained that they were ruled by a king and queen in any of their previous appearances? All I remember is that they said they were rebels in Krang's war torn Dimension X in their initial appearance, "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X."

Not that I recall, but I'm marathoning the entire OT right now. I'll let you know if I ever hear of them in any other ep. I'm guessing they're just more of those out-of-nowhere themes and characters that help make syndicated season 4 my least favorite bunch of eps (like the case of the two-headed biker, referenced in "TURTLEMANIAC").

And "Rondo from New York"? Man, that episode was strange! And I'm speaking as a Rambo fan!

I appreciate your help on this too.

LOL, I liked that Rambo episode.

If only because I thought bringing movie characters to life was a fun concept, especially since they were all old black and white movie monsters.

haha, i can't help but like the Zach episodes: it's like the writers are both honoring and making fun of TMNT fans at the same time

Those characters are in the Super Turtles manga weirdly enough. Even with the baby, still the same age.

Didn't the neutrinos complain about "all the adults" of Dimension X fighting and being serious all the time? I wonder if the royals are supposed to be serious for neutrinos?

Yeah, that whole "don't trust anybody over 30" mantra eventually rings hollow for everybody!

I actually asked this question about the Neutrinos while trying to get references for DrSpengler's translation of the manga!
