Some of my poetry
Just two poems i wrote when i was kinda depressed
A Heart In the Dark Is it possible for hearts to cry? Because the tears my tainted heart cry Merely slide off the glass of yours. The shadow in the grass Reminds me of how you stood. Is it possible for hearts to cry? For if they can, mine would wash away Drowned in misery. The fish in the water Reminds me of how you moved. Is it possible for hearts to cry? I now know for my own heart has shed many tears Tears that fall unnoticed by all. The shape on the bed Reminds me of you. Is it possible for wounds to seal? Because the gash left for tears Has finally been closed. The clouds in the sky Remind me of how you laughed. Is it possible for wounds to seal? For if they can the pain would cease Sealed away by the caresses. The cat in the field Reminds me of how you spoke. Is it possible for wounds to seal? I now know for my own wounds have sealed Sealed by the warmth of your heart. The skin I touch Reminds me of you. As the days go by and you grow old The pain begins anew. Encouraged by the time we shared The love that bloomed wilts. The people pass as I grow old Not in years but in my heart. The gash once sealed has broken again And I accept the blood I give… Leaving You are born Welcomed Oblivious Then you age, And think You notice things, Your parents shout And then it is your turn You shout farewell as your father, Leaves your nest. You cry. Then it hits you. You understand, The pain, The tears. Your father’s disappearing back The emptiness. Then it happens, You see a man. He captures your heart. Every time he’s with another you die. Eternal suffering, Now and forever. But do not despair! At the end of pain and suffering, There will be a light, Small at first but it grows. When you reach it care for it. In time he will hurt. Be there to reach out, And capture his broken heart. Nurse it back to health, As he heals yours.

Wow, I really like the first one, especially.
You are a girl right? I was trying to imagine what you were going through when you wrote the second one, Leaving. Anyway, I really liked both of them.

some poem that had a point but then jsut went some weird direction and i had to finish it like that
Why does the clock sing so sweetly? Once an hour or up to twelve. What makes it sing so sweetly? While the world is dying to save itself. Why does it sing so sweetly? It chimes and sings in the still of night. What makes it sing so sweetly? Singing out without fright. Why does it not pity the world? To save the stronghold it calls its home. Why do you not sing as well? For I am destined to roam, this endless pain that it calls home. The clock sings of hope and love and peace, Why do you not sing at all? Would you rather fall? The world is at the end. With nowhere to go it tries to defend, The streets are paved with not gold or silver, But with the blood of those who killed her. Killed who my sad songbird? Is it not the pain inside your heart, That caused her to see your fault? It is not blood it is not pain. That has been washed by the rain. But why do I feel the burning ache? The ache, the need to set things straight? My dear, my dear, do listen closely. For all things you have done are costly. But my dear, let me say, We will get another dog today.
