Its been a while.

Obviously with Krang under custody of the Neutrinos, Burnow Island now home to the Utroms under stasis, and where Fugitoid and Leatherhead worked on fixing Don's shell together, they can't still be there either. Or else they'd be causing trouble.

Did they teleport back to Dimension X off-screen or something?
Yes, we last saw them at the end of "Attack on Technodrome" in TMNT #44 I think.

I think declaring them "villains" in an upcoming story line is making some pretty major assumptions.

I'm glad there isn't any movie tie-in comic especially if that means we lose a mini in the IDW universe.

It also would be interesting to see how Yoshi and his sons survived in the mountains for a while before Saki eventually caught up to them and killed them. As I said I just re-read issue 5 so I'm just reminded how much I liked the reincarnation bit and am curious to see if their human lives will be revisited.

Ha, no. None planned in the near term. Kevin is working hard on some new creator-owned stuff.

Can you legally use Zanramon and Traximus? I ask because for some reason both of those characters were renamed in the 2012 cartoon.

I don't know offhand-- I'd have to check the list, and i'm out of the office today.

When the IDW Collection reaches that point, will the Ghostbusters crossover be... ahem... contained ?

So in the near future, can we expect more orginal characters, more classic characters or more focus on already introduced characters?

That's a good question. I would guess not, as that would mean we'd need to split the revenue again. Not sure though.

All three, fairly evenly distributed, I think.

Are Sally and Man Ray mutated from animals, or were they humans prior to mutation like Bebop/Rocksteady? I only ask because Man Ray is...well called, "Man Ray" and in the Archie comics he was a human who worked at an aquarium before mutation.

Hob didn't let Bebop/Rocksteady join the Mutanimals when he found out they were humans, but he doesn't know anything about Sally or Ray's past so I'm wondering that myself.

Spoiler:
HEY BOBBY, JUST FOR CONFIRMATION OF SOMETHING WE'VE ALREADY JUST SEEN THIS NEWEST ISSUE; Is a certain character the head of Dark Water, or just working with their organization?

IDW is the best version of TMNT

If they make a TMNT reboot movie retelling the shredder battle/origin, I won't buy a ticket.

i would guess they were Animal mutations.
wasn't the organization making them (in the Mutanimals mini-series) trying to evolve the perfect worker so they wouldn't have to send humans to do dangerous jobs.
and since they weren't human they wouldn't have any rights, and essentially be slaves?

at least that's what i gathered from the story?

Speaking of the Null mutants, it was mentioned that they were working on hybrids. Are Ray and Sally hybrids? Can we expect hybrids in the future?

No, as far as we know Ray and Sally are not hybrids. Can't speak to possible future plot points.

Bobby, if you get time - What's your favorite Mirage studios story?

I'm personally a big fan of City at War and volume 2.
Volume 3 is definitely a highlight, but no specific story comes to mind.

Another dumb "can you use this" question, how about the Japanese media stuff?

Stuff like mutastones, Krys-mu (however you wanna spell her name), Dark Mu, Super Mutations / Turtle Saint, that kind of stuff?

I imagine Aska is in a particularly "fun" circle of rights hell too. I'm always curious if big company acquisitions even know about fringe stuff like this.
