The way March's solicitation read I thought #104 was the conclusion of the current storyarc. Mutant concert and the cover make it sound underwhelming especially if they relocate from their bomb shelter under the church lair. I thought it was such a cool concept!

Anyone else think this new TMNT arc is an excuse to draw attractive furry people, don't get me wrong you can't get too much pig girls but its a thought.

God, I'm so scared of how #105 might turn out.

Yeah I was a bit naive there in anticipation. But also since the Turtles are now at a furry music festival I feel like I've stepped into a different series.

So all the Turtles are reunited again by issue 105, looks like people don’t have to worry about all the other Turtles besides Raph being sidelined out of the story.

Looks like not much but a brief arc before things get rolling.

I assume the issue will be entirely character-driven, and if that's the case, then the dynamic between the main cast is the most important part. So far, though, the way Sophie writes dialogue hasn't really worked for me, and while it's far too early to judge, I feel like this issue might suffer the most from that problem.

Pair that up with the really silly concept that might end up being really great if it's handled with just the right amount of self-awareness, but will probably backfire pretty hard if that balance isn't achieved. Also, I've probably already said this, but does anyone else get MAJOR Scott Pilgrim vibes from that whole 'mutant bands' thing?

I'm super excited for this issue because I can totally see myself loving it, but I'm also really worried about it. I'm definitely digging too deep into this considering the issue's like 3 months away, though.

Real talk I would be severely disappointed if there is no mention of humans going into Mutant Town to live out their furry/anime fantasy.

I was getting an "Unnatural" vibe which ironically also had a cute pig girl
