Considering she's wearing a raincoat, a walking stick, and a backpack, I'm guessing that won't be her standard clothes? I wonder what her "regular" clothes will look like. Would be cool if she wore that hat all the time though.

Oh, and almost forgot to say looks like teen April is confirmed. I figured she would be a teenager again since the Nick version worked well being close to the Turtles age.

To be honest she looks like a kid version of Kat Graham. Really looks like they modeled the design after the voice actress. Makes me wonder how much of the design was finalized before they chose the VA. Although given they purposely went with an African American April this time, I guess they had Kat Graham in mind from the start?

I don't know. She looks a bit younger than 2k12 April.

What's with that stain on her jeans?

Is it a temporary wardrobe choice (as in, a one episode/time thing) or is it a permanent clothing decision?

It's probably more like a gigantic tear in her jeans. From the overall way of the way she's dressed, I'd guess she's homeless/on the run/poor/from the bad side of town/all of the above, which would really give her a good excuse to hang around the turtles as frequently as she would in the new show.

Might as well do something that makes sense instead of dropping the ball as with 2012 April.

oh god, I hope not. Wouldn't that be a stereo type?

Carter came off from a well enough area of town that he could afford college and had no problem moving in with the turtles.

I got the same vibe off the design, she a homeless kid and that's how she's tied to the Turtles.

Loving the line work on that April pic.
And part of me hopes that comes from a storyline where she and the turtles are on the run.

Off the Grid runaway kids would certainly be neat hook.

This first look also gives us an idea of the art style the show will take and so far so good, I expected a "wackier" look with more cartoony proportions.
