Playmates 'Ninja Knights' Figures Carded!!

I honestly wish that they'd stick with toon accurate variants. But I have to say I sorta like this sub-line of figures. I've always been a huge fan of chrome armor parts for figures. Sure they're really stretching the 'Plausibility' factor with these, but oh well. I'm at a point I can accept just about any turtle variants, since the secondary characters are so great in the line. So bring it on Playmates, hit me with Ballerina, Rocky Horror, and whatever other crazy variants you have planned. Just keep up with the decent secondary characters. Follow the links to take a gander at what I think is a fun variant with a lot of cool accessories.

Ninja Knights Donatello
Ninja Knights Leonardo
Ninja Knights Michelangelo
Ninja Knights Raphael

Ah, yes. Finally the "Monty Python and the Holy Grail Turtles" are to be released soon. I do believe I'm hearing the theme song now....

We're turtles of the Round Table,
We fight whene'er we're able...

Fabulous.

If you takeit serious, there`s something which disturbs me........

Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello are knights......indeed.
But Raph is a Roman Gladiator

And that`s not exactly the same.......

Did anyone know why?

All those variants are starting to get ridiculous. Who the hell wants knight turtles?

Barkworm, this is actually the first figure release in a while that I'm planning on buying.... so I guess I want Knight turtles.

Donnies gold and black flag has my highschools colors on it, and to make that even better, we were the Knights. .

These are so much cooler than the other varients we've seen. I'll buy them but then again, I buy all the figures...

I Found Usagi Yojimbo!!!

Well, I just purchased Usagi. My buddy picked it up for me. He got it at a Walmart here in the Chicago land area so it is now out. There was only one there and it is an incredible figure. I will possibly take pics tonight then post them.

The official site has just posted 3 more sets of variants. Monster Trappers, Combat Warriors and Dino Seekers. Have to say that as much as I avoid variants like the plague the idea behind Combat Warriors is kinda cool, they have no extra armor or stuff like the rest, but preform martial arts moves.

There's also a few other new pieces like die-cast metal minis.
