dont worry people! i sent an e-mail over to the offical tmnt web-site! i asked if there where going to be a new tv show based on the tmnt. here is what they told me:
Howdy, We're currently developing a new animated TV series that we hope will debut in the Fall of 2003. If all goes well with that, we hope to have a computer animated TMNT movie in the theaters in 2004 or 2005. Thanks for writing! Cheers! Dan Berger Mirage Studios' Official TMNT Web Site Dude http://www.ninjaturtles.com wow, a computer animated movie... so, how you feel 'bout this? i know im sure excited. very excited. although, it may seem like a long time, it really isnt. These years have come and gone just like that. Also i have heard a few rumors about Tmnt going to the NINTENDO GAMECUBE (nintendo has always been my personal favorite when it comes to games. its a classic! just like tmnt)! how ya feel abut this? the gamecubes graphics are perfect for a tmnt game (no effence t xbox fans or ps2 fans either, i like all systems but nintendo ones better.). well, hopefully you'll post a reply. if you dont beleive me about the new cartoon, just ask them! |

Aw, I thought it was coming out sooner too. Oh, well at least it's coming out!
They originally wanted to do the show in CGI, but they dumped that for the cel animation. They're doing a CGI movie and a live action movie. At least, that's what I heard. |

I am a little ambiguous about the turtles in CGI. I personally think the new animated series would be far more better than a CGI based. Sure CGI may look better, but just seems to me that there trying everything with turtles, in that sence i mean they have had:
Cartoon, Movie based, Live series and now computer series. So i think returning back to there original roots (aka being the cartoon series)was a good move. Mind you fall 2003 feels a long way away to me. While i personally am crossing my fingers that the movie will be like the other 3 and not a completly different concept (as in CGI). If the movie is Based on the comic style i have no worries with that, as they tried the darker series out in the cartoon. |

Also Brett, there will be a console game for sure coming out. That has been offical. X-box i think would release one as well seeing that it will take over from the other consoles.
While Sega was my fav at heart, now i would have to say i also support Nintendo as they and Sony will have a hard battle with X-Box. |

I'm also a Sega fan. I'm glad they're still making games, even if they stopped making consoles...

I felt that i was the only sega fan in Australia as everybody had a Nintendto. I stuck with sega from the Master System>Game Gear> Megadrive.
I would have to say thay have been the most unluckiest company on the console/handheld market by far. |

X-Box stinks! It has one good game and it only lasts like 30 minutes! I sure hope the TMNT game doesn't come out on X-Box first as it would be a waste. PS2 or Gamecube for sure.
