Actually being able to catch TMNT on tv for once here in a bit. Work has most often prevented it on the Sunday schedule for the last couple of years. Thank you manager for somehow putting me on until 7 and not closing, which might have had me not out until 10pm.
Also... that the series isn't over for me yet, unlike those who couldn't wait and ran off and got the DVDs. (Though I'll miss the ep discussions that just won't be the same.) |

I also had some very good pizza for dinner. Bbq chicken currently my favorite type. I wonder if Friday is the most common day of the week to have Pizza.

Well, we just got it because Mom had to go and get a stroke test to make sure she's okay (which she is) so she asked if I wanted a different type of pizza rather than Little Caesar's and I told her I did so we got A.J's Pizza instead and it was really good.
Going to have Nelson's Port-A-Pit Chicken for lunch today and their chicken is very good.

Was last Monday that I'd developed a bunch of sinus and ear pressure and through Wed. felt like there may have been a virus trying to get at me.
But now that it's Sunday and nothing has developed and those symptoms have pretty much ceased, I think I can start to safely say that my immune system told it to 'eff off.' Really wish this happened more often with viruses! (Though the ears are still a bit poppy, maybe slightly stuffy, so hoping it didn't set me up for an ear infection.) Also, attempting to treat one of the cats with amoxicillin I had left over from my fish - to get rid of what I suspected was a sinus infection he'd seem to have most of the summer, despite others not wanting to accept that maybe my suspensions were right - seems to have done the trick. Now, if it was anything more concerning there would have been a vet visit, but being able to get rid of the issue at no cost of a vet bill (to do nothing but end up prescribed the same stuff)... kinda nice. I meant to post about this on Friday, but I scored three SNES Classic units that day. I already gave one to a co-worker and the other will most likely go to one of my friends.

The dinner I made tonight. It came out incredibly good. I should probably make a double batch next time, since it was a fairly small amount. And may cut back on the pepper a little bit.
I highly recommend folks trying that recipe.

Looks yummy. Someday I need to share my Turkish chicken recipe. Or my baked shark. Either would go well with that.

The one change I made was using wide linguini rather than the skinny. Which was probably the best choice. It's just a little wet, but that makes eating it a helluva lot easier.
But I recommend it very, very highly.

Day off today, so I went to a few stores and stopped by Dollar Tree. Wandered around and checked out their cheapie Halloween stuff. Had the usual costume pieces, such as the play ninja stuff they tend to have all year 'round in the regular toy isle. All the generic "ninja" stuff... the plastic swords, foam nunchucks, colored headbands...
Then I noticed one NEW recently stocked item with the "Ninja" tag on it... was a straight up foam Turtle shell. How awesome is that?? I mean, normally, in terms of generic stuff, a turtle shell wouldn't exactly be a ninja thing and wouldn't make sense if you were entirely pop culture illiterate, but because of certain ninjas...it's a ninja thing. |

Lol I saw that too! We have a Dollar Tree here in town and they had those. Thought it was cute. And the colored headbands. So "generic" ninjas come in turtle.... Good to know!

Is this literally all you talk about? What you say on online forums or who calls you a troll? The fact that this is happening to you on other forums outside of this one also proves that no matter where you go, others have the same opinion on your posts.
