Neca bootlegs are usually really good though, if I see positive reviews of the boot leg and they make a Leonardo I maybe tempted to get one.

They are out of them at that link. One thing I noticed is all of the feedback is for some beads over the past year and no toys. The descriptions also don't mention the figure. However, I see he is selling hot toys groot for 30.99 so I went ahead and tried my luck with that. Worst comes to worst I get my money back.

Whooooa, didn't even occur to me that these too could become available through China.
Maybe I'll end up owning 'em after all...

Not sure if these have been spotted at TRU yet, but my TRU had a Donatello on the shelf. As I was browsing, a stocker (not NECA or TRU employee but a third party hired to stock NECA and other brands) brought out a cart. He had another Donatello and a Raphael. He told me the Donatellos were being prioritized to go on shelves and was surprised he even had a Raphael. They ring up for $108.99.

I'm tempted to get one since I won't open my authentic one but I have a feeling these will be even less durable then the originals considering the problems with them

How are these dirt cheap Donatellos a thing?
Do they even make back the money it costs in production and shipping?

They might not be a thing yet. We're all still waiting to see if they actually arrive and what condition they'll be in.

Reminds me of the scam that went on with the knock off Robotech Turtles. I snatched a set of the four for $40 bucks and after weeks and weeks of waiting with a fake tracking number I ended up with a forced refund thru Paypal because it was a scam. This seems similar, but if it turns out to be legitimate I might pick one up even if the quality isn't as nice.
I have a feeling though it's gonna be a no show... All the positive feedbacks are for 99c prayer stones and nothing else thus far. Crossing my fingers for you guys though.

I remember that being a telltale sign of a scam. Selling little trinkets to build feedback then a big ticket item. I know 40 hardly seems big but you never know. Of course I hope its real cause if so I might be interested in one so whoever ordered one keep us posted

Could just be they're using a family member's account. Dunno.

$40 doesn't seem like much but when you sell a half a dozen auctions at 10 pcs per auction on a buy it now thats almost $2500 bucks to pocket and then disappear.
Then create a new account and do it all over again. People do this scamming professionally. It's harder because ebay will eventually start to track IP addresses for repeat offenders but by the time they figure out what's going on, they've usually always at least sold a round or two of auctions on a new account before they're account gets pulled. I've basically just learned that if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.
