I don't do Marvel, but I thought Squirrel Girl was the new hotness in that universe. I hear about it all the time on the internet. Kinda expected it to be way at the top of the list, not down below the independent books.
(For the record, my pull-list at the moment is basically TMNT/tie-ins, Star Wars/Darth Vader/tie-ins, Saga, Sex Criminals and The Wicked + The Divine, so I could be off on whatever's happening with the capes-and-underwear-over-the-pants books.) |

I think that's why she's not that popular. Her comic definitely doesn't appeal to the typical Marvel crowd. |

#50 is most likely going to have a huge surge in sales if only because of all the alternate covers it has that will drive up people buying double or triple issues.

Seems like Nick Amazing Adventures is settling back into similar sales numbers as the original Nick comic. Oh well, I guess kids of today just don't read comics much anymore.
Hopefully it gets at least 15 issues before they decide to pull the plug entirely. There probably won't be any comic based on the Nick cartoon after this, in the U.S. anyway since that UK Nick comic is still going. |

Kinda surprised a whole 10k dropped after Issue #51.

That number is still solid and I am happy to see how well 50 did

Are there a lot of stupid people out there who still think the series ends at #50 or what?

The numbers could be skewed by the amount of variant covers for #50 and people buying multiple copies.

Thats a good point. I am sure people do realize the series is still ongoing.

Very good point... that would definitely explain it and relieve my fears.

23,000 is actually better than normal, its above average. The book usually sells around 17,000-19,000 most of the time. So it did indeed get quite a boost after #50 even without all the alternate covers driving up sales.

Great to see the strong sales. It goes without saying that the IDW team deserves it.

How much of those sales on #51 was for the blank variant that could be ordered?
