I hit my finisher, kicked a couple guys in the nuts, and didn't die when Bull James threw me onto Shaheem Ali on the outside, so all in all I can say it was fine.
Battle Royals are all punch-kick anyway. Especially with 42 people. They weren't all in there at once, and it was two rings, but it definitely got pretty tight in there. Pretty tough to screw up a battle royal.I had some ideas for what to do if I ended up crossing paths with any of the women, but all that stuff happened in the other ring. It was interesting to see a co-ed battle royal with more than one woman; maybe next time. I gotta tighten up this gut, though. I definitely wasn't in the worst shape out of everyone, and not bad for being in physical therapy all year, but I gotta cut like three inches and I'll be back to where I was. My cardio was sh*t but then again, 1. I barely worked out all year until August because of my back, and 2. My cardio is always sh*t to begin with. I definitely wanna fix that a little bit this year. But on the whole, I'm fine with it. Apparently there'll be a fan video up of it soon.

So what happened in this week's AEW? They used to rerun them back to back but now they put a movie in between. They played It but it was a long work day and I fell asleep during the second act. Unless they didn't repeat AEW at all, I slept through the final act of It and 2 whole hours of AEW. What did I miss? I'm so pissed that I missed it.

I finally got to the TNT app to work so I guess I'll be stuck seeing it that way since they stopped rerunning the show after it's live airing. I liked the main event tag match though it's noticable Jericho doesn't do all that much in the ring.

One has to wonder if it would have been better if Jim had simply said "Food" instead of "fried chicken." Are we simply not allowed to make fun of starving Ethiopians at all, OR was it specifically the "fried chicken" part that got him in hot water?
Also, it was a taped show that had to pass by many sets of eyes before it aired, so there's no way it was a surprise. One almost wonders if someone "up top" simply didn't like Cornette and allowed this to happen so they'd have a convenient way to get rid of him. Lord knows it's happened to him before, many times. The only alternative is, everyone backstage thought the joke was funny until it aired and they got an angry Tweet about it, after which they had to pretend to be outraged. Which I can also believe. Anyways, it was funny, people are stupid.
