Its funny that is how i feel about most MCU Movies you can watch them once and not be in a hurry to watch them again as opposed to other movies.

Several MCU movies suck donkey dick - especially Thor, Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Avengers 2 - but the others aren't that bad.
I LOVED GotG. 2014 was a fantastic year for Marvel movies.

2014 was the BEST year for Marvel movies. Hasn't been topped yet, thanks to Winter Soldier and GotG.

Indeed! 2016 could top it if Doctor Strange knocks it out of the ballpark.

The one area Civil War lacked in was music. Complete cookie-cutter score, whereas the music for Winter Soldier felt like it was an actual player, or force, in the film.

Beyond Iron Man 1, Avengers 1, Winter Soldier and Civil War... they're all kind of just consistently "pretty good," never really "great." Enough to keep me interested and hooked, but not enough for me to be loudly singing their praises.

TV is another story. I'd take Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage over like 80% of the Marvel movies so far. They're the best gift I never knew I wanted.

Ditto. I'm shocked at how 13 hours of Daredevil S1 has consistently more outstanding writing than 2 hours of Thor. I get that they're different mediums, but for sh!t's sake, how does Netflix nail things so well all the time while the films and even ABC TV shows more often than not flounder?
I guess Netflix has more to lose than Disney, so they demand and expect higher quality material.

Thank Odin the Russos are taking helm of the MCU. Now we're bound to get at least two good Avengers films.

Having more time to flesh out a story helps a great deal, though...they could have used a bit more of that in Season 2. Because wow...too much. Just too much going on.

I'm far more critical of the Netflix stuff, because those are Marvel properties that I have far more experience with. "Alias" is one of my favorite books, so I'm extra hyper critical of how Jessica Jones came out.

Where as the actual movies? I could not possibly have cared less about any of the Avengers prior to the MCU, and it's because of that that I've got the freedom to unironically love Thor and Thor 2.

I mean...the movie was compelling enough to make me actually care about Thor. That in and of itself is a feat of film making. Same for Captain America and Iron-man.

I honestly found Darcy more charismatic than Thor. And Darcy is annoying as F*CK.

Why the hell hasn't Rick Jones been in these movies? He was with the Avengers from day one in the comics.

^ THIS.

I wish there was someway they could incorporate him into the movies.

You think so?
Huh. We have diametrically opposed taste in women it seems.

Thor 1 wasn't a perfect movie, but it was still a good sight better than average. I think it could have done with a bit more "Banished Prince Gets Humbled" and a little less camp from the Warriors. But short of that I liked it just fine.

Darcy was awesome. Way better than Jane, but that's not saying much.

Now that the Avengers are split 50/50, they should have him be a civilian confidante on Cap's team.

They are not split 50/50. Black Widow was never fully with Iron Man and is now on the governments list as well. Black Panther came to an understanding at the artic stronghold and made peace by keeping Bucky in cryogenic state in Wakanda without the UN's knowledge.

Then there was Iron Man who decided to help despite turning on Captain America for a few minutes in the artic. He may not be on the government's list of rebels, but still.

That only leaves Vision and War Machine. Those two should have issues with each other because Vision should never have fired at Falcon knowing the results and seeing what happened to one within his own faction who should want to go after Vision for it.
