Yes they say in the article to avoid to repeating other Sonic cartoons they will focus on the core characters.

^ Wow I never knew about that game and I thought I read everything regarding Sonic X-treme. Thanks for showing me this.

Looks like it was cancelled because the gameplay was too slow. Someone in the comments says it would had both speed and stealth levels.

Ironic...there have been so many different gameplay styles in recent years.

I wonder if they are going to change the ages of the characters a bit? Maybe make Tails a little older.

Hope this turns out good, I was just literally thinking this morning, "Someone should make a new Sonic show" I thought that after I saw that PacMan has a newer show on DisneyXD.

Sonic X and the Dr. RoBUTTnik show never did it for me really.
The only decent Sonic show was SatAM
