The Organ Donor (Saw IX)

Chris Rock explains it a bit:

I didn't know Samuel L. Jackson was going to be in it.

Saw with a little added grounded comedy here and there...hmmm.. and rebooted already.
Human torture isn't my favourite choice of horror movie though they did have story rather than jsut gore for the sake of it. I went to watch a few in the theatres more to do with others who wanted to see them and actually have them all (bar the last) on DVD but they were inherited rather than mine to start.

Much as I like Samuel L Jackson I think I am done with Saw, I didn't see the last one but curiosity may get me one day if I come across on the movies channels.

It's not a reboot.

Jigsaw (VIII) was all right. It's technically an... in-betweenquel. Mostly. Kind of seems like a wasted opportunity to me, though it's a bit clever.

Oh, I thought I saw the word reboot in that article, did mostly browse rather than read thoroughly though (though the numbering is in the title )

As good as the first Saw movie was, the rest of them were all equally terrible.

Nothing that's ostensibly "horror" should ever be franchised. It just can't be done without completely ruining whatever made the original great. There's not a single "great" horror franchise, just one great movie and a string of sequels that range from "Alright, I guess" to "Jesus, just stop!"

Alas, all anyone in Hollywood knows how to do is milk the cow until its tits are bleeding.
