New character & arts revealed! Coming April 2018!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

She is called Tangle the Lemur, created by Tyson Hesse of Sonic Mania fame! Looks like there will be no Sally Acorn or the Freedom Fighters from Archie Sonic (for now?).

I miss the old days when it was just Sonic and Tails VS Robotnik...

Actually... since IDW is always on such a retro kick, they should bring back Scratch and Grounder.

What the new Sonic the Hedgehog comic pulls from the blue blur's history, and what it leaves behind

For those who read Archie, what happened after the soft-reboot that erased the Ken Penders characters?

Was it more like SATAM? Did it follow the games? Was Sonic Genesis another reboot? I'm really confused about what happened and what they were doing in that post Ken Penders characters era.

I read the Genesis issues and yes it adapted stories from Sonic 1-3. Ken Penders’ characters like Prince Elias and such were left out, sadly.

Anyway, how are people enjoying IDW Sonic #1-3?
I think they did justice to Tails, Amy & Knuckles so far. I think it’s a new villain behind that throne, possibly not Eggman at all.

Concur, the zombot saga did outstay its welcome maybe, especially so for just coming with unfortunate timing in the middle of this current epidemic and whatnot

Damned if I didn't have some catharsis seeing it start wrapping up now though

Sadly I don't know many folks in the Sonic fandom anymore, but, general consensus from folks I've spoken there has been pretty positive there too =o

It was a bold decision to stick with the Sonic Forces universe, considering how despised the game/story of that was, but IDW's really made it seem to fit properly and it works, with some of the new comic characters even getting attention from Sega themselves and appearing in cameo form of the games!

Looking forward to continuing it further!
