Loving it so far. It is a nice nod to the TMNT NES game and also Radical Rescue on the Game Boy.

I'm over halfway through this game and its not nearly as terrible as I imagined it being. My biggest issue it the game's extra life mechanism. Its so broken that the game encourages you to cheese the manual save system.

I got it on 3DS, and I like the game. Nothing too special, but good old sidescrolling beat-em-up fun. Also nice to hear the voice-actors in the game.

I just got this on PS3. Reading the posts in this thread and viewing some gameplays on youtube, I think I got a picture idea of what to expect. I hope it's fun.

I recently got it for the 3DS, it's pretty fun, although I'm terrible at metroidvania games cause I have no sense of direction. Games and real-life, I get easily lost.

Not as much fun as I thought it would be. It seems the whole game is just one big maze. And then when you lose all four turtles... you start with only one and have to work your way back to where you first died, or have to work all over the maze to find the other 3 turtles. That's just BS. I don't know if that's how 'Metroidvania' games work, but at least in the ol' NES game, which this game takes some cues from, when you died, you continue with all 4 turtles back....

Sounds like a better name for this game would have been "Rescue Palooza."

So far I haven't gotten any turtle kidnapped.

Yeah, it takes you back to the lair.... then you have to go all over the place find the other turtles or back to wherever you died.

Okay, here's something that bothers me about this (I have it on 3DS).
I'm finally in the TCRI building, but the only Turtle I have left is Mikey, and the only one I can find is Raph. But where the heck are the other 2 Turtles? I can't find them anywhere and the game is near impossible with just those 2.

They could be anywhere, unfortunately. Sometimes you've gotta go allll the way back to the beginning to get them.

That sucks. I heard there was an upgrade where you could find them on the map, but I can't find it. This really keeps me from playing this game, and I hate that because I'm still very excited

Eventually you'll find the T-phone which will show where a turtle is caged up by a green dot marker.

If I remember correctly it's located somewhere in the TCRI building.

Oh yeah, there is an upgrade. I had a really hard time finding it. But even so, knowing where they are doesn't make going all the way back any more fun.

Until you make it all the way to the end I guess, cause the farther you go the more of the map you unlock.

As for Rahzar I was confused cause I thought I beat the boss and it's on to stage/level/round 2.... but nope... it just keeps going on... and on... and on...

Malachi gave me the smoke bombs, now I'm backtracking past any parts previously blocked by laser breams. And I ran into Squirrelanoids and robot Foot.
