Not really. Most of them are in their early twenties to early thirties in the series. Ivy and Selina were both very close to Bruce's age. (Ivy was aged by one of the freaks Strange was experimenting on) and Jerome/Joker is pretty young as well. Most of them are within about fifteen years of Bruce and he HAS been getting older as the series progresses so it is not like he's still 10 while all this is going on. He's five years older in universe now. And is already starting down his eventual road to Batdom.

Gotham moves to Thursday at 8pm from its Mondays at 8pm time slot. I would have thought Mondays would be better for its ratings personally.

When is this happening? I liked it on Mindays with Lucifer. It makes more sense.

New details of what to expect at the start of season 4.
Solomon Grundy's mind is a blank slate and cannot remember he does not trust The Riddler and they work with Leslie Tompkins. The only way I can see this is Ed going to Leslie to recover from his cryogenic state and Hitch sees her as a healer. Maybe this could start her clinc for anyone hero, villain, rich, or poor? I also am curious of what would happen when he sees Tabitha. Maybe the trigger to his memories? https://www.yahoo.com/news/villains-...095905945.html Also, the Fall premise is set for September 21st.

Just finished season 2 and what a ride. I had really enjoyed Season 1 unlike most people and as S2 started it was just a weaker and less interesting in every aspect when compared to the previous season but it found its footing and went a different way from S1 as well.
It did have its ups and downs and I don't even want to think about how all these characters know each other and have such complex relationships before Batman is even a thing but if we ignore the effects of all these changes then it has been a very fun ride. |

I'm anxious for the new season to star, as well. The end of last season was a bit of a shocker in some ways. I can certainly see how Bruce is developing into "the Bat", which is really cool. Ivy (I honestly don't know why they didn't name her Pamela, but whatever) and Cat are beginning to show their future selves a bit as well. Love Ed so far, and Oswald, of course. He is my main reason for watching, I think! Funnily enough, I'm not really as interested in Jim any more, as I am the others.

LOL That suit looks RIDICULOUS! Geez, I never thought this show would ever get any more idiotic, but I guess they keep finding ways. So glad I didn't waste any more time with it. |

I finished watching season 3 and thought it was great. An improvement over season 2, even though it got very weird at times and some stuff was rehashed. It was interesting to see Jim Gordon being pushed to his limits throughout the season and most of the villains were as always fun to watch. Didn't care much for the Court of Owls storyline (it was dragged out). The show's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously.

Gotham is the show you love to hate for all its divergence from the comics, not improving anything, and things that me you rage (Penguin gay for Riddler, hyperaging of Poison Ivy, the point of made for show Galavan's revenge was silly, and the list goes on) yet you still watch itf.

Didn't intend on watching it but they added S3 of Gotham so I went ahead and watched it and what a mess. I really liked the first season and don't understand why people disliked it. The second went a little bit crazy but it was fun enough that I didn't care. Here they continued with the crazy but without the fun.
I just don't understand why they went full superpowers and villains, even great characters like Nygma and Penguin seem like a shadow of their former selves. Aging Ivy was such a dumb move since they did nothing with her, Bruce who had been alright was as annoying as he's ever been. The court of owls became such a joke so early on. I don't see how they can save the show after this season. Selina is a character that really feels like she has aged over the years, how long is it supposed to have been since Bruce's parents got killed? 3 or more? Selina also got her Catwoman powers like in the catwoman film and Batman Returns, I guess that makes it as canon as her non powered origins. Though I guess here they didn't show she actually got any powers. Quote:
Masked young Bruce is straight out of the silver age levels of silly though. |

I really like the show. Yeah his suit looks a little weird but I see it as he is still trying to find himself. He is certainly headed in the right direction, but he's still not there yet. I have no problem with the Oswald/Edward thing, as it makes for some really interesting dynamics between the two. Aging Ivy seemed like an odd move- ubtil you realize that she has completely taken advantage of it. I expect her to end up as another of Hugo's freaks at some point, and gain her plant abilities(and probably stop aging altogether).

Personally I really enjoyed season 3. I binged it a couple of months ago and thought it was great. Loved Penguin, the Riddler, the Court of Owls and the Executioner.
Apparently season 4 will adapt the Long Halloween and Year One. Sounds great. |

I don't get the hatred for Gotham here, though. Yeah it is silly in places but it is a comic book series. Seasons 2 and 3 were very entertaining I found. Also, apparently Scarecrow will be a major villain in season 4. |
