Admittedly it would bring the show full circle, and act well as the final "villain" of the series.

If Carmaggedon would be really the final episode, it's kinda peculiar because another TV show like Gravity Falls ended with an episode called Weirdmaggedon

Carmaggedon is probably just a reference to Mad Max and the episode/arc has nothing to do with cars at all.

I haven't either

We have had episode titles that didn't exactly fit in with the story. I feel this title is a bit of teaser, In that Carmaggedon game cars kill people so they probably teasing the fact there is going to be deaths in the arc but not by a car.

Even in the original series, most of the episode title didn't make sense until getting Internet allowed to checking it out. Same with the idea, for many years I used to think most ideas were original by TMNT writers, while a lot of both titles and plots were taken from science fiction between circa 1920-1970.

What about the Bodycount comic reference they made a little while back? Could that fit in that arc somewhere?

Cars don't kill people, drivers do. Also, if it has nothing to do with cars, I think the writers should not name it so.

There's only 14 unaired episodes left now.

3 are Usagi episodes

3 are Renet episodes (Turtle toddler ep then the two monster eps with Savanti)

3 are the 80's crossover it seems, which might lead into the final of the show

3 are apparently some sort of future, Max Max, apoctalypic arc...seemingly the end of the show


That would leave 2 other random episodes. If that spoiler is true, it would probably be the last 2 episodes.

I hope the Turtle Tots episode reveals something f-ed up that changes the perspective of the series. Like how Shredder really was Karai's biological father all along, that Splinter intentionally raised the Turtles to kill Shredder or that Hamato Yoshi was dead all along and his pet rat just put up an act because he thought it would be easier for everyone. Something like that.

It's probably not going to but whatever, the show isn't going to continue anyway so why care if it cause a massive ratings drop.

The monster arc is 4 episodes

The turtle tot episode is just a stand alone episode

I think it's just going to be a flashback, not revealing something shocking.

I will personally eat my shorts if these writers ever even think to pull something like that off. I love the idea, but I just can't see the guys and gals writing this show ever using it, much less doing it justice.

It's likely just going to be a fun comical episode with chibi baby turtles. I think you guys are setting yourselves up for fanfiction-level disappointment like you did with the "Dark Raph" arc people conjured up in their minds.

Gotta go with Cubed on this. It'll be a cute stand alone, no major revelations, just a chance to see Splinter alive and well again before the show ends.
