I still bust out the NGPCs for some Cardfighters and MotM every now and then, whenever I can get live opponents. Metal Slug 2nd Mission gets quite a bit of attention too.
My favorite piece of SNK hardware hands down. A great way to get a glimpse of what that company used to be...Without the batsh*t crazy prices of the AES market.

My Sega Genesis Nomad worked...I haven't played it lately, but I suspect it will still work.

I think I just have ****** luck with Sega's hardware. My Sega CD didn't like to work either.

I had some pretty nice pickups over the weekend at the flea market....
My buddy found me some nice stuff- Mario Kart Double Dash & traded me his complete copy of Mario Party 7 for my incomplete one. Plus he found me a Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages at a garage sale (Yaaaaayyyy!) plus Mario Party for N64. Also, the Alien Trilogy Playstation long box was a neat find. A pretty fun DOOM clone. Those aliens are laughable though compared to the one in Alien Isolation, lol. Facehuggers are little pains in the butt though! The rest of them are just some fun titles I didn't have but have been wanting to flesh out our collection. EXCEPT, Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero... what to say... I don't think it even knows what kind of game it was... You're walking along punching people to death, pretty simple, then BOOM!! you're killed instantly by a giant pillar that comes crashing through the ceiling...? This game makes little sense, but there are a lot of those bad games that I just can't NOT have... ^THIS!!! This is what I'm most excited about!! The Fire Orange N64 is the first N64 I ever owned and got talked into selling it at a garage sale like 6 or 7 years ago. I almost immediately regretted it and hadn't found another one since. Fast forward to this past weekend- I see this little beauty sitting on a table at the flea market and snatched it up right away when they only wanted $30 for it... What made that even more amazing was that this guy had his grandson looking up prices for stuff on ebay and they wanted $60 for Mario Kart 64!!! WTF!!??!! Why would you ask complete in box prices for loose cartridges at a flea market? Usually this vendor is pretty reasonable on prices and gives me a good deal, but I think his grandson is going to screw it up. Luckily the kid hadn't looked up the Orange N64 yet (or maybe he did and he just sucks that much!). |

Nice pickups, though. The last game I got was Willow for the NES. I'm gonna bring it with me to Disney when I met Warwick Davis and hope he'll sign it. lol |

How do the GameCube Rogue Squadron games hold up? The original for N64 was great. I don't own a GC, but I do own a Wii. Thinking back, I suppose its backwards compatibility was one of the main reasons it was the first seventh-generation console I bought. (Resident Evil and MGS: The Twin Snakes being the games I felt I needed to own.)

The first Rogue Squadron on the Cube is still ace imo, especially given it was a launch title in the US.
Great pickups there Dawn

Thanks guys... I've got more to add, we've been busy!
After looking at Ecto Jedi's post it got me to thinking about Gradius III and upon seeing it at our favorite store, I had to pick it up! Plus some neat NES games. I think Dino-Riki is kind of a hidden gem, especially for the price. Nothing spectacular, but fun to play and has some character. I also got Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) based on the raving review of a friend of mine. I picked up NBA JAM TE for the 32x because A. It was boxed and B. It's so hard to find anything on the 32x... I now have this game for 3 different systems, lol. It is pretty fun for a sports title and I have very fond childhood memories of playing it... Boxed Duck Tales with manual & plastic insert was a nice surprise! Plus I now have all the Game Genies I want. Was happy to score Kirby's Adventure and Spiritual Warfare is a real trip and a surprisingly fun Zelda clone. Also scored this Halo Edition Xbox from a friend as a trade for a long box of comics. |

I wanted the translucent green unit back in the day.
It is beautiful! I was glad to get the translucent N64 system.
