Seriously, though, why April? She doesn't seem very central to the "Attack on Technodrome" volume. However, I do applaud putting the most well-known female character on the cover. We don't want to have another "Rey doesn't get a Star Wars toy" controversy, do we?

I, too, would deeply love to know if the next volume includes Ghostbusters. Because that four-issue miniseries is quite important to the narrative.

I don't know about TMNT/Ghostbusters.

As for April, I think it was just a matter of wanting to save Mike, Krang and Shredder for later stories. Why she was chosen over, say, Casey, I don't know.

He would have been very relevant to the whole Technodrome arc.

I don't know if it means anything, but the 3rd Ghosbusters hardcover (Interdimensional Crossrip) is skipping TMNT/Ghostbusters.

YOu'd think 2 IDW comics could be included... but who knows the the legal entanglements.

i'm still just a little disappointed that Infestation didn't make it in, but it's not earth shattering.

I think, that from all IDW license initiatives, aside from continuity question, only Deviations one-shot shoud be included in these collections. Because only this thing is somehow important to the whole TMNT universe and it IS about TMNT universe, while other comics are just fun side quests that add nothing to the main narrative (like Infestation, even though it's canon).

So then the only thing these collections will be missing is the Infestation 2-parter and the Deviations one-shot. Not sure why the latter can't be included even if it's an alternate universe type thing, it's part of the main mythology either way.

Yeah, but for those of us who like to sell the single issues when collections come out, now we have to hold onto the floppy just for one issue. I still have to hold onto the floppies of Infestation 2-parter and Deviations, unless I buy the collections of them with IDW's other properties but that's not worth it if you only care about TMNT.
