So not a male, not white, not the NRA, in a gun free zone inside a basically gun free state (3rd highest gun control laws in the nation).... oh and not an ar15....

And she killed herself when confronted...

I'm really extra interested in her case, because she's such an outlier in almost every respect.

And especially so because this was apparently over a business decision, and not a domestic dispute as was originally reported.

Yeah, it's definitely unique.

First thought was it was some angry commenter coming home to roost.

Then we found out she was a woman, so "domestic."

yep. not white,or a male... so i guess the news networks don't cover it, or at least not wall to wall coverage.

What's sadly goofy was that just hours before, there was a hashtag 'love a muslim' going around twitter that vanished rather fast as soon as the name was announced.

What I didn't know was that California has some of the stricter gun laws around. Banning automatic rifles may not solve ALL violence problems, but it should keep the mass death down dramatically. stupid NRA.

oh, and in other news..all those kids that thought they could make a living off of youtube ad revenue for life. time to get a real job kiddos and actually do some work.

Campbell said gun violence is a problem in the United States that needs to be addressed. He also chided the media for not paying attention to other instances of gun violence.

I'm having trouble finding any stories saying conclusively that the shooter is dead. Are we sure she's dead?

I only ever hear bad things about YouTube. I wonder if this incident could have been avoided if content creators had more support such as a union? I recently heard about the internet creators guild. I’m curious if the shooter had contacted them for any type of support.

I actually had no idea Youtube de-monetized "smaller" channels until this. That's really sheisty, and even more lofty is the rationale they give as to why.
