I'm working with a friend on a scene in which he wants me to somehow insert the turtles and make it work. I'm hereby calling this 'terrapinception.'

I know I mentioned it elsewhere, buuuut.... I had two stories nominated for the Stealthy Stories fan-fic competition. Yay! First time in YEARS I've had anything get nominated for an award. Last time was while I was still active over at Marvel doing their monthly fic- competitions. Won or placed a few of those, but AFAIK, they don't have them anymore.

The nominations were for best villain- Splinter in Some Other World (the boys and their "dad" are the bad guys in that one) and best OC for Jack Kurtzman in The Last Stand (though he's just an adaptation of the character in the Nick series). I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

(PS: Please vote, folks! I'm really excited about this!)

It's over at Stealthy Stories. Honestly, I wouldn't have even known if they hadn't sent me an e-mail about it. Really cool, since I didn't actually "enter" myself. Not even a member there, so it was doubly awesome.

Not really an important question at all, just a matter of curiosity. Some of you cats seem to keep pretty busy. I was just wondering, if anyone cares to share, how many TMNT stories have some of you actually written, anyways?

No big deal, just wondering.

So far, I only have about six- and one of those is my Gargoyles crossover. I also have three Spider-Man based fics, and a couple of D&D-related ones set in my own homebrew setting. That's plenty for me right now! I DO have seven other TMNT ones started, but not yet posted. They are all short stories, though, while my two or three "main" ones are on-going.

I've got 3 completed stories in my Of Hearts and Shells series, working on the fourth, and also currently cowriting a story with TheEquestrianIdiot. I had a big Slayers story back in the day, too, but I've kind of abandoned it.

Not many. I've written a few short stories and tidbits in my notebooks involving the Turtles but so far have only shared one online and it's not complete yet.

I have a lot to be honest. Never really counted how many I have, but I have a lot of them as that's mostly the fandom I write in. I never thought I'd get so many stories written, but it's awesome, too.

Speaking of which, a new story has been posted called Better Brother:

Part of why I asked is, it's taken me, so far, 15 years to finish one and a half of 'em. Granted, they're both 20 Chapters and take forever to write, but anyways, always wondered how other people can do so much.

Also not sure how long most people's stuff is. I generally don't read 'em. I just know that when I actually write anything it's "go big or don't bother".

Mine are a mixed bag of one-shots and longer multi-chapter tales. My Gargoyles crossover is up to chapter 5 so far, and I have three chapters on my "dark-turtles" story, but my longest by far is Love Is Shell, which is up to 24 so far. The rest are either one-shot shorts, or only have a chapter or two completed. My Red-Back series has about 22 issues so far, but only the first seven are posted. The longest story I've done so far is Darksong, my D&D-based fantasy tale. But most of it is posted only on Mickey's Comic Tavern so far. It's VERY dark and disturbing in places, and contains some very adult themes and content.

My longest so far is Tales of a Pizza Delivery Boy which is at least 64 chapters and counting. But for me, it depends on how far I want to take a story and how far I CAN take a story.
