Totally Turtles has finally hit the UK! Half a decade after its’ arrival in the US and it is only airing the 87 show.

In semi-related news, Paramount+ has been removing several Nickelodeon shows... I really hope they aren't allowed to take something they bought from another company, like the 4Kids TMNT show for example, and make that a tax write off. After a decade of near complete neglect, they finally bothered to give it wide distribution and it would be horrible if they decided to do something like that.

Which shows have they removed? Are they big time (SpongeBob/Rugrats etc) or the lesser known ones people don’t generally care for?

https://www.nickalive.net/2024/03/pa...ckelodeon.html

The ones they removed now are:
  1. Are You Afraid of the Dark? (2019)
  2. Big Nate
  3. Blue's Clues & You!
  4. It's Pony
  5. Middlemost Post
  6. Ollie's Pack
  7. Rugrats (2021)
  8. Ryan's Mystery Playdate
  9. Santiago of the Seas
  10. That Girl Lay Lay

Earlier this year they also removed:
  1. Abby Hatcher (seasons 1-2)
  2. All That (2019) (season 1)
  3. Bunsen is a Beast (season 1)
  4. The Bureau of Magical Things (season 1)
  5. Butterbean’s Café (seasons 1-2)
  6. Fresh Beat Band of Spies (season 1)
  7. The Haunted Hathaways (seasons 1-2)
  8. Hunter Street (seasons 1-3)
  9. Instant Mom (seasons 1-3)
  10. Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (seasons 2-3)
  11. Nella the Princess Knight (seasons 1-2)
  12. The Other Kingdom (season 1)
  13. Paradise Run (seasons 1-3)
  14. The Penguins of Madagascar (seasons 2-3)
  15. Robot and Monster (season 1)
  16. Side Hustle (seasons 1-2)
  17. The Substitute (seasons 1-2)
  18. Sunny Day (seasons 1-2)
  19. T.U.F.F. Puppy (seasons 1-3)
  20. Tak and the Power of Juju (season 1)

So yes, these can be considered "lesser ones", but I bet there is someone out there who is unhappy about this. The point is though that they could remove more in the future and then it might be something more people care about.

What no way. They (Paramaount / Viacom / Nick / whatever they go by now) fully own the rights to TMNT 2k3. I don’t see how It costs anything more than server space for them to host It on Paramount Plus

Today, they're airing Korra, first time in a while.

When a show gets moved to Nicktoons that always means it's on the chopping block. I guess no one was watching the new Rugrats which means there won't be a third season.

If that means no more commercials for them on Pluto, etc... to be honest, there's a couple on that list I'm not sad about.

Seems kinda pointless to outright remove them though. Edit: Also why I still prefer to have DVD hard copies of things I love. Thank goodness 2003 did get that set.

It's a pity that scene with the Tengu Shredder getting sliced in half was cut from the Ultimate Collection box set and Turtles Forever being the cut version. I wonder if we ever will get another complete series box set with the episode intact and the uncut Turtles Forever included in the box set along with the Mayem From Mutant Island episode (I won't get my hopes up though). We were lucky to even get that Ultimate Collection box set. See that scene in the episode 'Turtles in Space - Part 3: The Big House' where Leo says the word "Spoons" did your copy cut the word out. When I was watching that scene on my Ultimate Collection box set I couldn't hear him say that word for some reason. It didn't just happen with my copy, someone else mentioned it on here before about having the same problem. Thankfully never had the problem with the older DVD's. I never got the blurry picture with any of the episodes though that a bunch of other people where getting.

I couldn't be fussed on streaming tbh I just don't trust it. There were some shows I was looking up out of curiousity that weren't available in my country on some of the streaming services and I could be in the middle of watching a show and the streaming service might just remove it so I won't get to finish it, so couldn't be bothered for the hassle. I'd always have that worry, the internet could go down too which happened a few times when I used to have an Xbox One which wouldn't let me play my games without an internet connection. Love the box and disc art for the older releases of the 2003 TMNT DVD's. Ordered myself the Blu-ray steel books for the first two seasons of The Mandalorian yesterday as well which I'm looking forward to getting.
