Breaded gator nuggets. C'mere Leatherhead..
The funny side to this reply is that my church does a Wednesday night fellowship dinner for all to come and enjoy. Most of the time Acadiana Cafe' does the cooking for the church dinners. Since they specialize in Cajun entrees', the Cafe' is not above cooking gator meat.

I've heard tell that the only edible part of alligator is the tail. I'm not much of an exotic meat person, myself though. The furthest I've gone from basic American fare is lamb...in gyros.
Meanwhile, I do want to try "Mabel Juice" in its intended form. Sure, they made it on Feast of Fiction, but it's hardly in the realm of the description: "It's like if coffee and nightmares had a baby" Heck, even Smile Dip. Give me that sugar tripout.

Haha.. Fun Dip reference.
Spoiler:
I guess I didn't eat enough of them for a crazy sugar high of my own, but I did confuse my step-mom when I got my first packet. **I told her that the 'stick' was edible.

Well yeah, they're edible, but I guess that's the part that was confusing her.
(I personally like the stick better than the powder )

My step-mom might have literally thought I lost it when I told her that. (She didn't know that the stick was hard candy.)
I still can remember that look that she gave me to this day. "You said that you can eat the stick? Um.. okaaay." Personally, I like both the powdered candy & the stick. (But, it also depends on the flavor of the powder too. )

I can now cross chicken, quinoa and jicama salad off my list of things to try. Got a salad from one of my regular DT customers today- she is the manager at the Starbucks across the steeet- and it was awesome! Black beans, spring greens, tomatoes, corn, jicama, and quinoa, eith chicken and cotija cheese, with a tomato chile vinegrette. Loving this. Don't quite know what quinoa is, but I now know I like it!

Homie there was this brand that had a lobster ravioli microwaveable meal. I forget who it was, but it was THE BEST THING I'D EVER MICROWAVED.
Then they stopped showing up at the store and I wondered why... I wrote to the company and they said they stopped making it. No explanation. I've never had frozen dinner lobster mac but there was a sports bar down this way that would make it and I loved the hell out of it. Then they became like a country bar and stopped serving anything worth eating.

After seeing how easy it is to make, I've been wondering what clotted cream is like.
Especially since it seems to be good with "biscuits" and jam. Nice of me to mix my American food vernacular into a British topping. Just...dump some heavy cream into a baking dish and put it in a low heat oven for 12 hours...and then let it get cold for another 12 hours. I'd give it a try.
