Yeah, pretty bad. But what else do you expect from Marvel animation these days? Although I've recently heard good things about the GOTG cartoon.

Horrible animation. And they stole that scenario right out of a Spectacular Spider-Man episode!

I'm gonna take a crack at guessing the episode, but was that Reaction, the episode where Pete fought Ock for the first time?

Who voiced Scorpion though here? This series really is a bigger step down. Give Ultimate Spider-Man credit, it at least has good animation.

Nah, episode 3 (Natural Selection).

Not a direct ripoff, but still a bit similar.

I dunno, thought the stealing of whatever Scorpion had reminded me of Ock's power device. Close at least; damn, I wish Lizard got another appearance in Spectacular, that was one of my favorites.

I'd be OK if they copied stuff from Spectacular. Like, a lot of stuff.

Yeah, there are far worse things they could've taken from than Spectacular.

There were plans for Spidey to take a spring break trip to Florida in a direct-to-DVD movie and fight Lizard there. Alas...

The only good Marvel cartoons of the 2000's were Spectacular Spiderman, Avengers: EMH, X-men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-men.

Two of these were also canceled after only 26 episodes, and X-men Evolution and Avengers: EMH also only lasted 52 episodes...so they were all generally short-lived too. What a shame.

Imagine if we got a TMNT cartoon that only lasted 52 episodes? It'd be blasphemy, all TMNT cartoons have made over 120 episodes.

The animation isn't "horrible", its no Spectacular Spiderman and its a little sluggish but at least the choreography is good(what with Spiderman fighting like Spiderman). The bad news is that like all modern Marvel shows(with the exception of GOTG) the backgrounds are bland and unfinished looking

I really hate the animation style all these recent Marvel shows have...don't even know what it is exactly, everything just feels so stiff and off somehow.

Yeah, that animation isn't good. The whole fight also seems kinda slow somehow.
And it's no surprise they're going for a Spiderman Homecoming type show (or at least getting inspired by it).

It's hard to believe this is the 9th Spiderman cartoon.

The 1967 one, the two from the 80's, Spiderman: TAS from the 90's, Spiderman 2099, the CG Spiderman from the early 2000's, Spectacular Spiderman from 2008, Ultimate Spiderman from 2011, and now this series. And this is on top of Spiderman's cameos in other Marvel series.

Goddamn, we've only had 3 TMNT cartoons.

Wow Ultimate Spider-Man is that old?

Wasn't Ultimate Spider-Man in continuity with the other Marvel shows that happened at the time, I think it was Avengers Assemble,HULK Squad and I think another one? Maybe the GOTG cartoon is also in that continuity?

Yes, but we've had about 475 total animated episodes of TMNT, plus Rise on the way.

Add up all those Spider-Man cartoons and you don't even get 350 episodes. And Spidey is way older than Turtles.

Spiderman made his first appearance in 1962.
TMNT #1 didn't come out until 1984.

It makes sense he'd have more shows, he has been around longer. Plus, Marvel stuff has always been more marketable and successful than TMNT.

Why is that a problem, you complain about the Nick TMNT show not having enough episodes yet you're salty that we only have 3 TMNT cartoons. You can't have your cake and eat it too
