This all looks really great. I like the color choices you went with. The brighter colors with the darker colors make for interesting contrast.

for whatever reason, i find darker colors tend to look better in cg. lighter colors seem to get washed out too much.

Lions Gate just went on a copyright infringment rampage notice on all my turtle videos.

all videos are down until current notice. one copyright strike on the channel is bad enough considering they where all fan videos.

sigh.

I understand why they do it, but you'd think the bot or intern would notice these are fan videos and not actual episode uploads.

YouTube Bots are dumb that way.

Keep emailing the site and let them know that you created your fan videos, and the program(s) that you used. That might lift that copyright strike from your account.

i'd ask if anyone has any lions gate contacts to help clear up the issue,

but i wonder if it's even worth the bother.


Even vimeo has started tagging things for content, so i can't even upload them there.....and i'm not sure if re uploading them without sound would either work, or be worth it.

Looking back at Big Rip Off....

45 shots need improving in act one. some simple, some a bit more complex.

Once i get the last minute of the RGB Promo looking decent, i'll give that a break for a while and go ba ck to rip off

Seems like Lionsgate gave up on enforcing copyright control over their TMNT content a couple of years ago, but sounds like they are stepping up their game again. Makes me think there might be some plans for yet another re-release of the series!

taking a little ghostbusters break. working a little on the complete layer setup.......Splinters room is done. Weapons room is next. that would just leave Don's lab, and the garrage to do.

Ghostbusters is done. going back to turtles for a bit. I think I will do Rip Off and A THIRD try at Big Blow Out back to back so at least three projects will all have the same models.

When you have no life and need projects to keep one busy, it helps to keep one sane and focused.

where to go from that? not sure yet. i'm not good enough to turn this into a full time gig. and I KNOW I don't want to do any more full turtle episodes after this.

Break In looks good enough on it's own and doesn't need a remix. Maybe short clips from shows that could use a little updating attempt?

messing around with act two this week.

Big Blow Out Take 3 will be a MUCH slower, do as I feel like, project seeing as how it's the third time around in improvements. but at least THREE Projects will be updated with all the exact same intro and models.
