Raphael the Interview (or something like that)

Yesterday at Boston Comic Con there was an original art vendor with a piece of TMNT art I've never seen before. It was a full page of Raph on duo shade with text behind him "Raphael the Interview" or "An Interview with Raphael". It had an old school Eastman signature and dated "85".

Anyone know what this is from? I wanted to buy it, but held back.

Does anyone know what this is from?

I remember seeing this piece of OA before. Maybe it was sold on Comiclink in the last few years? I'm also curious where it's from and whether it was published or not. What was the price?

Yup piece has floated around for years. And yes at auction within the last few years before once again ending with a dealer at a sizable markup. Unpublished and unused but still a cool piece

He was asking $2,900, which was pretty steep in my opinion.

I feel like I may have seen this at NYCC one year? It rings a bell.

Sounds about right. Been at a number of cons for sale since the 2011 auction

Wow, I didn't realize the auction was that long ago.
Here's a pic I found in my archives of the artwork in question.

HAHAHA, yeah, that's it. It looks great, but I wasn't sure what it was worth. $2900 was out of the question since I had no clue of its actual market value.
